Congratulations to Auburn tailback Ean Nation for being voted SBLive's Alabama High School Athlete of the Week for Sept 25-Oct. 2!

Nation caught 11 passes for 208 yards and a touchdown in Auburn’s 51-29 win over Opelika.

He received 65 percent of the 5,788 votes cast, beating out Foley’s Kolton Nero (34 percent).

A.J. Harris, Central

Was credited with 20 total tackles, including one for a loss, in a 35-28 win over Dothan.

John Paul Head, Vestavia Hills

Completed 11 of his 21 passes for 108 yards and one touchdown and carried the ball 13 times for 140 yards and two more scores in a 52-10 win over Chelsea.

Kolton Nero, Foley

Ran the ball 18 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns, tossed a 39-yard scoring pass and recorded eight tackles, including two for a loss, on defense in a 39-38 win over Fairhope.

Clyde Pittman, Auburn

Completed 12 of 14 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns, rushed six times for 35 yards and another score and caught a 20-yard touchdown pass on a trick play in a 51-29 win over Opelika.

Cameron Richardson, Prattville

Completed 15 of 19 passes for 192 yards and four touchdowns and rushed five times for 88 yards in a 42-26 win over Enterprise.

Anthony Rogers, Pike Road

Ran the ball eight times for 200 yards and four touchdowns in a 52-8 win over Park Crossing.

Blaise Vickery, Hackleburg

Completed 18 of his 30 passes for 345 yards and four touchdowns in a 46-14 win over Waterloo.

Peter Woods, Thompson

Was credited with 11 total tackles, including four tackles for a loss and three sacks in a 14-12 win over Hewitt-Trussville.
