The 6-foot-3 senior led Cullman with 27 points in a 72-70, four-overtime win over Hartselle in the Class 6A Area 14 Championship.
Cagle received 98.25% of the vote, beating out Mountain Brook’s Ty Davis (1.05 percent) and McGill Toolen’s Devin McCaine (0.35%) with more than 285 votes cast.
