Congratulations to Forrest City boys basketball guard Kesean Washington for being voted SBLive’s Arkansas High School Athlete of the Week for Jan. 10-16!
The 5-8 junior had 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals in a 66-60 victory over Mills.
Washington received 44.64% of the vote, beating out Conway's Chloe Clardy, who finished second with 33.16%. Marion's Jessica Robins finished third with 9.14% and Springdale Har-Ber's Caylan Koons finished fourth with 0.32%.

The 6-1 senior guard had 26 points and 7 rebounds in a 61-50 victory over Paris and had 25 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in a 65-55 victory over Cossatot River.
Jianna Morris, Sylvan Hills girls basketball
The junior scored 19 points, had 7 rebounds and 3 steals in a 47-45 loss to Little Rock Christian. She had 16 points and 4 rebounds in a 42-40 victory over Maumelle.
