Here’s how the Top 25 Arkansas high school football teams fared in Week 6

1. Bryant (5-0) beat Little Rock Central 42-0

The Hornets went ahead and got this one out of the way early as they scored all of their points in the first half.

2. Conway (5-1) lost to Cabot 35-20

Conway got down by two touchdowns in the first quarter and fought back a couple of times, but penalties and turnovers led to its first loss of the season.

3. Pulaski Academy (6-0) beat Siloam Springs 64-17

Siloam Springs got on the board first, but it was short-lived as the Bruins scored their most points of the 2022 season.

4. Greenwood (5-1)

The Bulldogs were on a bye. 

5. Cabot (5-1) beat Conway 35-20

Cabot got over the hump and defeated Conway for the first time since 2015 in a Top 5 matchup with major implications. The Panthers are tied with top-ranked Bryant at the top of the 7A-Central standings.

6. Bentonville (5-1) beat Rogers Heritage 42-7

While the offense has continued to roll, defense has been a big story for the Tigers over the past month and that was no different Friday night.

7. Rogers (5-1) lost to Bentonville West 34-21

Following a big win over Fayetteville last week, Rogers came out flat getting shut out for just shy of three quarters. The Mounties rallied for a valiant comeback, but the West offense proved too strong.

8. Lake Hamilton (7-0) beat Greenbrier 33-14

The train continues to roll for the Wolves as they clinched their third-straight lopsided victory, and a huge matchup against Greenwood is up next.

9. Catholic (6-0) beat Sheridan 21-7

Sheridan gave them all they wanted, but the Rockets continue to win with a favorable schedule looming the rest of the way.

10. Fayetteville (4-2) beat Fort Smith Southside 60-20

A game that was played at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, the Purple Dogs allowed the Mavericks to stick around but began to pull away in the second quarter.

11. Joe T. Robinson (5-1) beat Maumelle 35-30

Brian Maupin had his Hornets ready to play against his alma mater, and former team, as Maumelle led 8-0 after a quarter but Robinson was able to finish it out despite a strong effort from Maumelle.

12. Parkview (4-2) beat Hope 47-21

After starting 2-0 then losing back-to-back games, the Patriots are again back on a two-game win streak after handling Hope.

13. Bentonville West (4-2) beat Rogers 34-21

Needing a win to stay in the 7A-West race, the Wolverines got it despite a strong push by Rogers in the fourth quarter.

14. Arkadelphia (5-0)

The Badgers were on a bye.

15. Little Rock Christian (4-2) beat Mountain Home 45-13

Coming off a bye, the Warriors got back to their winning ways pummeling the Bombers and are hoping this is the beginning of a lengthy win streak.

16. Benton (4-2) beat Greene County Tech 58-0

The Panthers are now on a three-game win streak and have averaged 56 points per game in the span.

17. Camden Fairview (5-1) beat Magnolia 35-19

In their biggest win of the season, Camden Fairview’s offense came alive after struggling last week to take down undefeated Magnolia and made a strong push in their quest for the 5A-South.

18. Wynne (4-2) lost to Valley View 21-20 (OT)

Wynne lost to Valley View for the first time since 2019 as a missed extra point ended up being the turning point of the game, ironically after Wynne had blocked a Valley View field goal, as the Blazers emerged victorious in overtime.

19. Shiloh Christian (5-1) beat Harrison 55-14

In what was expected to be a competitive contest was another dominating performance for the Saints and they have averaged 56 points per game in conference play.

20. Magnolia (5-1) lost to Camden Fairview 35-19

The Panthers stumbled for the first time this season as they were not able to match the play of the Cardinals’ offense.

21. Mills (7-0) beat Pine Bluff 19-18 (OT)

The Comets continue to find ways to win close games and did it in overtime thanks to QJ King’s extra point that sealed the victory.

22. Harding Academy (6-0) beat Bald Knob 41-12

They ran away with it much quicker, but for the second week in a row the Wildcats were pushed by a 2-4A conference foe. They led just 13-12 at halftime before pulling away in the third quarter.

23. Farmington (4-2) beat Dardanelle 58-14

The Cardinals have now won the past two games with converted defensive back Sam Wells at quarterback and done so in dominating fashion.

24. Nettleton (5-1) beat Paragould 35-0

The Raiders became the fourth team in a row to shut out Paragould as they easily took down the Rams.

25. Batesville (5-1) beat Forrest City 37-6

Batesville has had quite the turnaround in its first season under Ryan Morrow and has now won four in a row.
