All of the winners in this week's Arkansas prep state tennis championships

State champions were crowned in boys and girls tennis in the five classes this week.

CLASS 6A

Ella Coleman, who won the Class 6A title as a freshman and was runner-up as a sophomore, won the individual title for Bentonville, which won the girls team title at Rebsamen Tennis Center in Little Rock. Coleman defeated Stella DeVera of Rogers Heritage, 7-6, 6-4. 

The girls doubles champion was Caroline Lasley and Kyushu Patil of Little Rock Central, who defeated Glennah Langford and Kavya Kurichety of Bentonville, 5-7, 7-5, 7-6.

On the boys side, Ethan Richardson of Jonesboro won the singles title with 7-5, 6-2 victory over Graham Hardin of Bentonville West. The doubles champion went to Jacob Nordin and Spencer Holloway of Fayetteville, who defeated Boyce Reed and Santiago Aquirre of Bentonville, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3.

The boys team title went to Jonesboro and Fayetteville which shared the championship while Bentonville West was the runner-up.

CLASS 5A

Hot Springs Lakeside boys won the state title at the Hot Springs Country Club and were led by Ben Hollis, who defeated Pulaski Academy’s Ethan Tan 6-3, 6-0. Lakeside was also led by its doubles team of Greyson Cornelison and Barrett Tipton, who defeated Ty Robinson and Kai Conley of Lake Hamilton, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2.

The girls state title went to Pulaski Academy which was led by its doubles team of Jaymie Angtuaco and Danna Homsi, which defeated Elizabeth Cowen and Sabrina Long of Lakeside, 6-1, 6-1. The Lady Bruins were also led by Shallaya Anand who finished fourth in singles by losing to Macie Hiede of Mountain Home, 8-2.

The girls individual title went to Otha Los of Siloam Springs and exchange student from Ukraine, who won her first three matches in straight sets and defeated Emory Simmons Parkview 3-4, 4-1, forfeit.

CLASS 4A

Keeton Dassinger of Episcopal Collegiate won the boys title singles when he defeated Alex Patrick of Shiloh Christian, 6-2, 6-0 at the University of the Ozark in Clarksville. The boys doubles title went to Aiden Matthews and Justus Thurlby of Shiloh Christian, who defeated Matthews Wewers and Nick Adams of Subiaco Academy, 6-1, 6-0.

The girls singles title went to Zayla Ware of Joe T. Robinson, who defeated Lovey Reynolds of Episcopal 6-1, 6-4. The girls doubles title went to Samantha DeLuca and Taylor Lea of Episcopal, who defeated Hudley Humphrey and Emily Vold of Shiloh, 7-6, 7-5.

CLASS 3A

Piggott and Drew Central shared the boys team title with seven points while Haas Hall Fayetteville won the girls title with 16 points at the Conway City Courts.

Piggott was led by the individual champion Shawn Hudson-Seegraves, who defeated Ben Conklin of Maumelle Charter, 6-3, 6-3. Drew Central was led by its doubles team of Nate Cooper and Drew Bunton, who defeated Matthew New and Rhett Rabb of Central Arkansas Christian, 6-1, 2-6, 6-0.

Haas Hall was led by Sydney Turner, who won the singles title by defeating Audrey Walters of Elkins, 7-6, 6-1. In addition, Brook Meek of Haas Hall finished third by defeating Alyssa Conklin of Maumelle Charter, 6-1, 6-1. Its doubles team of Leena Cashman and Naya Keesman defeated Maddi Holt and Ruby Trammell of Bergman, 1-6, 6-2, 6-4.

CLASS 2A

Jackson Dison of Parkers Chapel won the boys singles title by not dropping a set in his four matches, culminating with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Sebastian Banks of Haas Hall Rogers at the El Dorado Country Club.

The boys doubles title went to Seth Couch and Harrison McAnally of Riverside, who need three sets to beat Akshay Ala and Tommy Aniline of Haas Hall Bentonville, 6-4, 6-0 to help the Rebels win the team title.

The girls singles title went to Caroline Huff of Conway Christian, who defeated Jaycee Davis of East Poinsett County, 6-4, 6-2.

The girls doubles title went to Bella Frisby and Kallie Martin of Parkers Chapel, who defeated Brooklyn Berry and Mallory Booth of Riverside, 6-4, 6-4. The doubles team of Parkers Chapel of Tatum Watson and McKenzie Morgan helped the Trojans win its third consecutive state title with a 7-6, 7-5 victory over Sarah Kate Carwell and Sarabeth Stracener of Ridgefield Christian.
