Parkview 6-foot-9 2024 wing Dallas "Slim" Thomas announced his commitment to Clemson on Tuesday.

The Tigers were one of the final four choices for Thomas along with Arkansas, LSU, Memphis and Missouri, which he initially released May 4.

“Ultimately I chose (Clemson) because it just seemed like the place for me,” Thomas told On3 Monday. “Their coaches made it clear I was their top priority. They have a good family bond and their coaches had a clear plan for my development into a pro which is huge for me. It just felt like home all in all.”

Thomas, a four-star prospect, is the 67th-best recruit overall and second in Arkansas per On3. His additional offers include Houston, Illinois, Oklahoma State, St. John's, TCU and Texas Tech.

Despite battling nagging injuries as a junior, Thomas averaged nearly a double-double — 16.5 points and 9.4 rebounds — along with 2.3 assists and 2.1 blocks after putting up 14.6 points and pulling down 6.8 rebounds per contest as a sophomore. He was named to the SBLive Arkansas all-state second team last season.

Clemson finished the 2022-23 season with a 23-11 record, 14-6 in ACC play, and lost to Morehead State in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament.
