Details from all of Friday's girls and boys wrestling state tournament matches

The 16th annual Arkansas Arkansas State high school wrestling tournament begins at 9 a.m. Friday at the Stephens Center on the campus of UA-Little Rock. 

The championship and consolation quarterfinals for girls and boys kick off the day. The second session, which begins at 4 p.m., features all semifinal matches.

GIRLS SEMIFINALS

5A-100

Kaylei Parish (Searcy) defeated Madeleine Aguiluz (El Dorado) by fall in 2:33, setting up a finals match with Emele Seigfried (Sylvan Hills), who defeated Chloe Brown (Bauxite) by fall in 1:39.

Riley Fazio (Searcy) took down Farah Crossno (Greenwood) by fall in 5:29 to advance to the finals, where she will take on Hayley Riddell (Lake Hamilton), who won by disqualification by against Valeria Moreno (Searcy).

Faith Howerton (Arkansas High) defeated Jacklyn Price (Bauxite) by fall in 1:02, moving on to a finals matchup with Gracie Webb (Searcy), who beat Sylvan Hills' Jadelynn Isom due to injury.

Two-time defending state champion Alena Williams (Searcy) beat Montashia Floyd (Arkansas High) by fall in 5:54 and will take on Sylvan Hills' Zoey Weeks, who beat Adeline Jackson (Lake Hamilton) by fall in 1:48, in the finals tomorrow.

Searcy's Shania Brown pinned Aubrey Rhoden (Bauxite) in 20 seconds, setting up a finals match against Eva Garcia (Van Buren), who beat Katelyn Hayden (El Dorado) by fall in 3:43.

Defending champion Jaelyn Gibson (Russellville) beat Sylvan Hills' Giselle Lopez by fall in 3:00, moving on to the finals against Raylee Hunter (Lake Hamilton), who downed McKenna Likert (Searcy) in a 5-1 decision.

Alexis Schmotzer (Van Buren) defeated Payton Finch (Sylvan Hills) by fall in 53 seconds, advancing to a finals matchup with Emerson Pulley (Searcy), who beat Destinee Smith (El Dorado) by fall in 3:01.

Defending champion Avery Taylor (Russellville) pinned Sylvan Hills' Alayia Watson in 2:35 and will meet up in the finals with Olivia McCoy (Mountain Home), who pinned Searcy's Jillian Conrad in 3:10.

Izzy Hovater (Central Aransas Christian) earned a spot in the finals after pinning Avery Smith (Searcy) in 3:44, setting up a finals match against Mena's Emery Anderson, who pinned Leigha Gatewood (Mountain Home) in 1:12.

Aubrey Hart (Searcy) advanced to the finals with an 11-4 decision win against Catherine Paz (Berryville) and will take on Riley Chisum (Russellville), who pinned Katie Nave (Hot Springs Lakeside) in 3:42.

Batesville's Cynthia Martinez pinned Verolina Kira (Greenwood) in 58 seconds and will face D'Mysha James (Sylvan Hills) in the finals after James pinned Hailey Garner (Greenbrier) in 1:21.

Defending champ Mackenzie Graves (Bentonville) moved on to the finals, beating Brenna Acs (Cabot) by fall in 24 seconds. Graves will meet Laila Brown (Springdale), who defeated Kalen Elias (Heritage) by fall in 3:16, in the finals.

Dalani Hornbuckle (Rogers) defeated Milla Andrews (Fayetteville) by a 5-1 decision, advancing to the finals against Laila Jordan (Little Rock Central), who beat Isabella Salas (Rogers Heritage) by a 12-1 major decision.

Fayetteville's Pandelitsa Nicolaou defeated Rylie Sminchak (Bentonville West) by fall in 1:59. Nicolaou moved on to the finals and will take on defending champion Emily Ashby (Springdale), who took down Mackenzie Lawvey (Bentonville) by technical fall.

Layne Hattenhauer (Little Rock Christian) beat McKinley Runnels (Bentonville) by fall in 1:20 and will take on Diana Cervantes (Rogers Heritage), who defeated Margaret Ashby (Springdale) by fall in 2:31, in the finals.

Ella Casteel (Roger Heritage) moved on to the finals with a 7-0 decision win against Little Rock Southwest's Bailey Sessions and will meet up with Isabella Easterling (Bentonville West), who beat Breanna Lozano (Fort Smith Northside) by fall in 2:35.

Defending champion Ka'liyia Chim (North Little Rock) beat Paiges Arsola (Fort Smith Southside) in a 5-4 decision, advancing to a finals match against Nahomy Ranero-Garcia (Bentonville), who defeated Kamayolynn David (Springdale Har-Ber) in an 8-6 decision.

Kaylei Parish (Searcy) defeats Harlee Pannel (Mena) by forfeit. She will face Madeleine Aguiluz (El Dorado), who defeated Bailey Doss (Van Buren) by fall in 22 seconds, in the semifinals. Emile Siegfried (Sylvan Hills) defeated Litzy Garcia (Gravette) by fall in 21 seconds. Siegfried will take on Chloe Brown (Bauxite) in the semis following Brown's win over Mackenzi Clark (Mountain Home) by fall in 2:27.

Valeria Moreno (Searcy) won by fall in 54 seconds over Bauxite's Alessia Besacon and will face Hayley Riddell (Lake Hamilton) in the semifinals following Riddell's win over Nadiyah Thornton (Gravette) by fall in 2:43. Searcy's Riley Fazio beat Phoebe Caldwell (Beebe) by fall in 1:13, setting her up against defending state champion Farah Crossno (Greenwood), who defeated Emmi Hensley (Mena) by fall in 1:46.

Gracie Webb (Searcy) won over Kyaira Lloyd (Arkansas High) by fall in 52 seconds and will face Sylvan Hills' Jadelynn Isom in the semifinals following Isom's win over Carly Johnson (Van Buren) by fall in 56 seconds. Faith Howerton (Arkansas High) won by fall over Lakyn Renfroe (Pottsville) by fall in 1:14. Howerton will face Jacklyn Price (Bauxite), who defeated Ellie Miller (Mountain Home) via forfeit.

Two-time defending state champion Alena Williams (Searcy) defeated Hot Springs Lakeside's Katelyn Wallace by fall in 3:00 and will take on Montashia Floyd (Arkansas High) following Floyd's win over Hurzie Guiltner (Mountain Home) by fall in 1:33. Defending champion Adeline Jackson (Lake Hamilton) advanced to the semifinals via a bye and will face Sylvan Hills' Zoey Weeks, who beat Jocelyn Martinez (Greenwood) by fall in 3:04.

Katelyn Hayden (El Dorado) took down Greenwood's Emily Daggett by fall in 1:44 and will face defending champion Eva Garcia (Van Buren) following Garcia's win over Zakeria Shoto (Arkansas High) by fall in 1:13.

Arkadelphia's Deanna Buckley gave defending champion Alexis Schmotzer (Van Buren) a push, but Schmotzer pinned her in 3:50 to advance to the semis and face Payton Finch (Sylvan Hills) following Finch's win over Cayleigh Cooksey (Pottsville) by fall in 1:00. Destinee Smith (El Dorado) beat Kaylee Brown (Maumelle) by fall in 1:11 and will face Emerson Pulley (Searcy) following Pulley's quick triumph over Kaitlyn Morris (Lake Hamilton).

Defending champion Avery Taylor (Russellville) quickly pinned Jacksonville's Makayla Mills in 15 seconds to set up a semifinal matchup with Sylvan Hills' Alayia Watson following Watson's win in 40 seconds over Jaxi Ervin (Van Buren). Searcy's Jillian Conrad won via sudden victory over Riley Dean (Hot Springs Lakeside), while Olivia McCoy took down Destiny Hogan (Mena) by fall in 1:24.

Izzy Hovater (Central Aransas Christian) advanced to the semifinals via a forfeit and will face Avery Smith (Searcy), who quickly pinned Alyssa Beasley (Hot Springs Lakeside) in 40 seconds. Mena's Emery Anderson got past Tatum Rion (Pottsville) by fall in 1:03 and will take on Leigha Gatewood (Mountain Home) in the semis, following her hard-fought win over Sylvan Hills' Jer'Leah Davis by fall in 5:09.

Aubrey Hart (Searcy) moved on to the semifinal round by way of a bye and will face Catherine Paz (Berryville) following her win over Natalie Noles by fall in 1:54. Katie Nave (Hot Springs Lakeside) took down Jocelyn Bryant (Mountain Home) by fall in 1:52 and she will face Riley Chisum (Russellville) who advanced via forfeit.

Searcy's Torrie Seymore defeated Raziya Giddings (Arkansas High) by fall in 1:10 and will face Adrian York (Sylvan Hills) in the semifinals following York's win over Kaylea Brooks (Greenwood), which was also by fall in 1:10. There were two quick matches on the other side of the bracket, as Kylee Herron (Hot Springs Lakeside) pinned Ella Tappe (Central Arkansas Christian) in 50 seconds and will take on Rachel Barnett (Bauxite) following Barnett's win over Lacei Horne (Batesville) in 42 seconds.

Evelyn Romero's (Van Buren) pin of Jolina Butterfield (Mena) in 42 seconds set up a semifinal matchup with Gabriella Watson (Lake Hamilton), who beat Alice Knott (Batesville) via fall in 1:08. Sylvan Hills' Kyra Looney got past Alaskah Emery (Searcy) by fall in 26 seconds and she will face Afton Bridges (Greenwood) following Bridges' win over Emma Gregory (Sheridan) by fall in 5:45.

Batesville's Cynthia Martinez pinned Bauxite's Kairi Guillion in 41 seconds to set up a semifinal matchup with Verolina Kira (Greenwood), who came out on top over Kylie Speights (Sheridan) by fall in 3:12. Defending champion D'Mysha James (Sylvan Hills) hardly broke a sweat while pinning Deanna Ramirez (Van Buren) in 18 seconds. James will face Hailey Garner (Greenbrier), who quickly pinned Layla Adomako (Jacksonville) in 23 seconds.

Emily Foster (Van Buren) pinned Abigail Woodall (Jacksonville) in 59 seconds and will face Sylvan Hills' Kylee Laird, who advanced via a bye. On the opposite side, El Dorado's Sharnesia Tate also moved on by way of a bye and takes on Addison Baldwin (Hot Springs Lakeside) next, following Baldwin's win over Kenlyee Brown (Mountain Home) by fall in 3:36.
