Notre Dame scored eight unanswered runs to stun Huntington Beach in the Boras Classic championship game

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame (California) continues to rise up the SBLive Power 25 national high school baseball rankings.

The Knights won four games in four days at the Boras Classic in Southern California this past week, defeating No. 8 Huntington Beach and No. 13 JSerra along the way. Notre Dame limited its first three opponents to one total run before defeating Huntington Beach 8-5 in the championship game.

1. IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) (20-0)

IMG remained unbeaten but got two tough tests last week. They beat Dunedin and Tampa Jesuit each by one run in extra innings on consecutive days last week. Games against Montverde Academy and Bartow are scheduled in the second to last week of the regular season.

2. Marjory Stoneman Douglas (Parkland, Fla.) (18-0)

The Eagles shutout Naples last week, 2-0, recording their eighth shutout in 18 games. They'll take on Park Vista and Key West this week who have won a combined 30 games.

3. St. Mary’s Prep (Orchard Lake, Mich.) (11-0)

The Eaglets won four times last week, extending their overall winning streak to 77 straight games. The streak is a new record for the state of Michigan and third all-time nationally.

4. Sinton (Texas) (25-1)

Sinton has won 12 straight games and has held each opponent to one run or less. They'll play their final regular season road game on Tuesday night at Ingleside.

5. Barbe (Lake Charles, La.) (33-1)

Barbe wrapped up the regular season last week with three wins including an 8-3 victory over district runner-up Sulphur 8-3 on Tuesday.

6. Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nev.) (19-2)

The Gaels went 3-0 in league play last week, earning back-to-back 11-1 victories over Rancho and Desert Oasis to close out the week. Junior Burke Mabeus is hitting .459 with 12 doubles.

7. Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, Calif.) (20-2)

Notre Dame won four games in four days at the Boras Classic, earning the title with a come from behind 8-5 victory over Huntington Beach. The Knights outscored their first three opponents 11-1 before stunning the Oilers with a late comeback in the championship game.

8. Huntington Beach (Calif.) (17-7)

Huntington Beach took a 15-game winning streak into the championship game of the Boras Classic and led 5-0 in the sixth inning before Notre Dame answered with eight runs to win the championship. They'll play four league games over the next two weeks to close out the regular season.

9. Calvary Christian (Clearwater, Fla.) (17-3)

Calvary Christian beat Venice and Hollins last week. Senior Hunter Dietz struck out nine batters across six shutout innings on Tuesday.

10. Catholic (Baton Rouge, La.) (31-2)

The Bears will wrap up their regular season with a game against Zachary on Monday night, looking to stretch their winning streak to 13.

11. Jesuit (Tampa, Fla.) (17-3)

The Tigers went 1-1 last week, nearly ending the perfect season of No. 1 IMG Academy on Wednesday night. Jesuit fell 9-8 in nine innings and will get their chance again when they host the Ascenders next week.

12. Westlake (Austin, Texas) (26-2)

Westlake dominated last week's two-game set with Austin, winning 10-0 and 6-1. Five games remain in district play and the Chaparrals hold a one-game lead over both Lake Travis and Bowie.

13. JSerra (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) (13-8)

JSerra had three dominant wins at last week's Boras Classic, but lost to eventual champion Notre Dame on day two, 3-0. They'll close out the Trinity League with six games against Servite and Orange Lutheran over the next two weeks.

14. Houston County (Warner Robins, Ga.) (25-4)

The Bears completed region play undefeated by sweeping three games from Lee County last week. They'll finish up the regular season when they host Ola on Tuesday night.

15. Aquinas (San Bernardino, Calif.) (14-4)

Aquinas had one of the tougher draws at the Boras Classic, finishing 2-2. Oregon-signee Eric Bitonti had a grand slam in Monday's win over Cypress.

16. Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, Ohio) (10-2)

Moeller held serve at home last week, winning four home games by a combined score of 37-5. They'll play four games this week including conference games against La Salle on Monday and Wednesday.

17. Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, Texas) (26-2)

The Crusaders swept three games from St. Thomas Catholic, winning the final game 2-1 in 10 innings on Saturday. Non-district games against Kinkaid and College Station are scheduled for this week.

18. Cypress Woods (Texas) (23-3)

Cypress Woods took two district games from Bridgeland last week, to stay unbeaten. They'll play two games with Cypress Springs and one with Cypress Falls this week.

19. Gahr (Cerritos, Calif.) (18-2-1)

Gahr swept three league games last week to keep pace with La Mirada and added a win over Capistrano Valley on Saturday that extended their winning streak to 14 games. A three-game showdown with La Mirada awaits next week.

20. Sulphur (La.) (27-4)

Sulphur lost to No. 5 Barbe on Tuesday but bounced back with two wins over Sam Houston to claim second place in district play. They'll finish the regular season with a doubleheader against Glenmora on Monday.

21. Rockwall (Texas) (24-6)

The Yellowjackets closed out their 2-0 week with an 11-0 shutout at Southlake Carroll on Saturday. They'll play a two-game series with Mesquite this week while holding a one-game lead in the district standings.

22. Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, Calif.) (15-7)

The Wolverines completed a three-game sweep of Sierra Canyon last week to extend their winning streak to seven games.

23. Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.) (18-4)

Hamilton scored 36 runs last week, taking two games from Perry and one from Chandler. They'll play three games this week looking to keep pace with Perry atop the section standings.

24. St. Xavier (Louisville, Ky.) (14-4)

St. Xavier went 3-1 last week, closing out the week with two wins over Brother Rice (Illinois). Senior Cooper Smith is hitting .480 with four doubles and four home runs.

25. Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, Calif.) (17-0)

The Cardinals took two league games from Ukiah during the week and then proceeded to beat Marin Catholic 5-4 on Saturday. As the Boras North Classic champions, they'll get their shot against Sherman Oaks Notre Dame at Santa Clara University later this month.
