Three Narbonne High School basketball players transfer
Narbonne basketball will have a different look in 2019-2020.
Last year the Narbonne High School boys basketball team made the City Section Open Division playoffs. The team was rebuilding under head coach Anthony Hilliard but still managed to earn the eighth and final seed in the tournament.
The Gauchos were led by 2021 all-city guard Zion Sutton as
well as LJ McClain, an athletic 2020 forward. Both players have opted to leave
the school.
Sutton has transferred to Westchester, according to Hilliard. LJ McClain and his brother Darius suited up for Lynwood at the Fairfax summer tournament this week.
“We just have to keep it moving with what we have,” Hilliard said Wednesday.
