SB Live Player Diary: Mount Si's Jabe Mullins says early struggles are bringing the Wildcats closer

The start of the season has tested our team’s mental toughness, as we have hit a lot of adversity through the first two weeks of the season. 

Coming into the season we knew it would be an even harder year than last year because we had a target on our backs, especially in the 4A KingCo. I guess that's what happens when you win the league title and finish second in state.

We had two weeks of practice before our first game, and we got after it. 

We were playing well and playing together. We were very confident coming into our first game against Churchill — a team we beat by 30 over the summer. Unfortunately we were too confident, didn’t bring it and lost 55-47.
