Congratulations to Moses Lake forward Kyle Karstetter and Liberty Christian guard Grant McClure for being voted Scorebook Live’s WAFD Bank boys basketball players of the week!

Karstetter was two assists away from a triple-double with 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assists.

McClure led the way for Liberty Christian in their 65-62 victory over DeSales, scoring an impressive 43 points.

Karstetter and McClure were within a handful of total votes of each other. It was an impressive voting effort by both fan bases. If this were an election, we would have a run-off. Because it’s high school sports we get to give out swag and awards to two great athletes!

Mt. Spokane forward Tyson Degenhart finished third with 16.75% and Ingraham forward Tyrell Moore was fourth with 2.87%.

We are currently accepting boys basketball player nominations for the week of Dec. 16-22. If you would like to nominate an athlete, please email or tag us on Twitter or Instagram at @sblivewa.
