Photos: Lake City girls beat Rocky Mountain in Idaho 5A state quarterfinals to end 15-year drought

Sophia Zufelt produced scoring when her team needed her with the end of a 15-year drought on the line Thursday night. A fourth quarter 3 and a slashing bucket helped Lake City hold off Rocky Mountain 44-39 in the 5A Idaho state quarterfinals at the Ford Idaho Center.

It's the first time Lake City has won a first round game since 2007. And the run continues on Friday when the top-seeded Timberwolves take on 5-seed Boise in the state semifinals at 5 p.m.
