Anyanwu was an All-CIF 1st team selection as a junior after averaging 13 points and ten rebounds per game to help lead the Dons to the CIF Open Division Championship.
He chose the Golden Bears over offers from Colorado, Miami, USC and several others. Anyanwu is the fourth basketball prospect in San Diego's class of 2021 to make a college commitment.
