The 2022-23 high school basketball season might be history, but the Cooper Flagg show rolls on.

Flagg was recently named an SBLive All-American honorable mention following a standout sophomore campaign with Montverde Academy (Florida), and now the five-star forward is tearing up the summer circuit.

Playing for Maine United in his first Nike EYBL game of the season, Flagg dropped a 50-piece and a double-double in the same game. The 6-foot-8 wing posted 52 points and 12 rebounds while hitting 16 of his 18 shot attempts.

The full skill set was on display for Flagg, who drained jumpers from all over the court, made tough finishes at the hoop and impacted the game with his defense.

The Maine native received an offer from Kansas State shortly after his 50 point double-double, adding to the list which features the likes of Duke, Iowa, Michigan, UCLA and more.

Flagg is the No. 2 sophomore in the country, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. The current top-ranked recruit in the sophomore class is Columbus (Florida) forward Cameron Boozer.

Flagg’s latest performance adds fuel to the quickly heating-up debate over who should be ranked the No. 1 player in the class of 2025.
