Cameron Boozer's Columbus (Florida) adds Jase, Jaxon Richardson via transfer

Sons of former NBA player Jason Richardson, former Bishop Gorman (Nevada) standouts, will form one of nation's best high school teams

Blue chip prospects Jase Richardson and Jaxon Richardson are reportedly moving from Las Vegas to Florida to form one of the best teams in high school basketball in 2023-24.

The former Bishop Gorman (Nevada) standouts are transferring to Florida high school power Columbus in Miami and play alongside Cameron Boozer, the nation's No. 1 2025 prospect, and his fellow blue chip twin brother Cayden Boozer.

The news means the team-up of the twin sons of former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer with the sons of former NBA player Jason Richardson.

Jase Richardson, a 6-foot-3 2024 point guard, updated his Twitter bio to say "Christopher Columbus High School."

High school basketball reporter Samad Hines first reported the news on Twitter Monday evening.

The older Richardson is a four-star prospect being recruited by Michigan State, Alabama, Arkansas and others.

He's coming off of a stellar showing at Peach Jam. Across five games, he averaged 20.8 points, 4.2 assists and 4.2 boards on 56 percent shooting (45 percent 3) playing for California-based Paul George Elite.

Jaxon Richardson, a bouncy 6-foot-5 forward, had a standout freshman season at Bishop Gorman coming off the bench, posting standout performances against five-star Mikey Williams and San Ysidro (California) and had a 20-point, eight-rebounds, three-block outing at Hoophall.

Columbus (Florida) has won back-to-back Florida Class 7A state championships.
