CIF Northern California 2019 girls volleyball brackets, state playoff tournament results: Branson upsets Aragon in Division II
The semifinals are set for all levels of the 2019 CIF Northern California girls volleyball state playoffs, and Branson pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the second round, knocking off No. 2 Aragon in five sets in the Division II tournament.
Branson will face No. 3 Central Catholic in Saturday's Division II semifinals, with No. 1 Los Gatos vs. No. 5 Lincoln in the other semifinal.
All four top seeds advanced to the semifinals in the Division I state tournament, setting up what should be two outstanding matches on Saturday: No. 1 Campolindo vs. No. 4 Palo Alto and No. 2 Menlo-Atherton vs. No. 3 Clovis West.
