CIF San Diego Section girls basketball Division 1 playoff predictions: Mission Hills the favorite

For the first time in five years the Mission Hills Grizzlies will not be in the Open Division playoffs, they’ll be competing in Division 1. That could mean trouble for the other Division 1 teams in the bracket.
The Grizzlies are the clear cut favorite in Division 1, but they will not look past anyone as coach Chris Kroesch looks to play in his eighth straight CIF San Diego Section championship game.
Another thing that’s strange in this division is that two league opponents have to face each other in the first round. Carlsbad will host San Marcos on Wednesday night which is another flaw in the rankings system.
