Here are Scorebook Live’s Top 25 Southern California high school baseball rankings for the week of February 24th. Our rankings encompass the Southern Section and LA City Sections. The rankings are compiled by Scorebook Live California reporters Connor Morrissette, Bodie DeSilva and Lance Smith and will be released weekly during the regular season.

La Mirada followed up their 2-0 loss to Orange Lutheran with a 25-3 drubbing of Loara.

JSerra swept a good West Ranch team to start the season.

Harvard-Westlake started their season with an 11-3 win over Mira Costa. They beat Damien 7-4 on Monday.

5. Santa Margarita (1-0)

The Eagles play La Mirada in the Loara Tournament Monday night at 7 p.m.

6. Huntington Beach (4-0)

Huntington Beach beat Loyola 7-2 on Monday.

7. Notre Dame Sherman Oaks (2-0)

Notre Dame swept Bishop Amat to start the year.

8. Bishop Amat (2-2)

The Lancers lost a close 2-1 game in 13 innings to Notre Dame in their first game of the regular season. They've beaten Santiago and Woodrow Wilson.

Great hitting has propelled Thousand Oaks to a 4-0 start.

Foothill began the year with a sweep over Servite.

Corona's one loss came against JSerra so far this season.

The defending Division 1 Southern Section champions have started slow with two losses to Orange Lutheran and a third defeat to Dana Hills.

16. San Pedro (1-0)

San Pedro pitcher Travis Connelly threw a no hitter in the Pirates' season opening 14-0 win over Bellflower.

The Bearcats picked up a nice win over Maranatha 2-1 in ten innings last week.
