PHOENIX — Many of the top high school basketball players on the West Coast headed to Phoenix Oct. 23-25 to participate in the first annual Border League Tournament.

The Border League, created to give high school basketball players from California, Nevada and Arizona an opportunity to compete in the fall, took place Friday through Sunday across five different high schools around Phoenix.

Corona Centennial, a participant in last season's CIF Open Division State Championship, finished with a 4-0 record on the weekend to win the Arizona division. The Huskies took down Aurora (Colorado), St. Mary's (Arizona), Mountain Pointe (Arizona), and Calvary Christian (Florida) along the way.
