FULLERTON– La Jolla Country Day cruised past Stars/Carondelet on Oct. 9 at the Hope Scholastic Showcase. Jada Williams led the way with 20 points, Breya Cunningham was in double-digits, and three other Torreys finished with at least 8 points.
The game was played at Hope International University in the top girls basketball preseason event on the West Coast, and LJCD made a case for being the best team there in wins over Corona Centennial and Carondelet.
