The 2022 California (CIF) State boys basketball playoffs are underway and we're taking a closer look at the best players in each Division. 

Here's an inside look at the top 10 players in Division 4.

TOP 10 PLAYERS IN CIF STATE DIVISION 4 PLAYOFFS

(The players are listed in alphabetical order by region.)

SOUTHERN REGION

Jonthan Choyce - Westchester - Junior shooting guard

Choyce is Westchester's leading scorer this season. He put in 23 points in a win over University on Dec. 23. 

Yonatan Dan - Valley Torah - Junior shooting guard

Dan scored 22 points in a blowout win over Vasquez on Jan. 5. 

Donovan Cornelius - LACES - Sophomore shooting guard

LACES vs. Van Nuys basketball_0619

Cornelius led LACES with 18 points in the Unicorns' 61-46 Division 2 LA City Section championship win over Van Nuys. 

Joaquin Riker - Dos Pueblos - Senior small forward

Riker scored 15 points in Dos Pueblos' 58-56 4A Southern Section semifinal win over Valley Torah. 

Zion Staples - Artesia - Sophomore small forward

Staples leads Artesia in points per game and rebounds per game. He scores 13.3 points per game and grabs an average of 12.6 rebounds per contest. 

Jamaal Unuakhalu - Chatsworth - Senior small forward

Unuakhalu scored 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Chatsworth's 84-80 senior night loss to Burroughs. 

Kamaury Washington - Long Beach Millikan - Senior small forward

Washington scored 26 points and led the Rams to a 65-62 win in the Moore League tie breaker game against Wilson on Feb. 6. Without his performance, the Rams most likely wouldn't have qualified for the Section or state playoffs.

NORTHERN REGION

Jay Clifton - Calaveras - Junior point guard

Clifton averages 22.5 points per game for Calaveras. 

Drew Fischer - Liberty Ranch - Senior point guard

Fischer leads Liberty Ranch in points, rebounds, assists and steals per game. He's also a senior captain. 

Demarrreya Lewis-Cooper - Enterprise - Senior point guard

Lewis-Cooper is one of the top unsigned seniors in Northern California high school basketball.
