Watch: Hannah Stines, Juice Brown, Orangewood Academy put on a show in State playoff win against Bishop Montgomery

OA won 74-60 to advance to the CIF Southern Region Division 1 finals.

GARDEN GROVE– In a brilliant display of passing and uptempo offense on Saturday, Orangewood Academy punched its ticket to the CIF Southern Region Division 1 finals with a 74-60 win against Bishop Montgomery.

Juice Brown had a 14-point double-double for OA in addition to several assists, nearly putting up a triple-double despite matching up at the center spot. 4-star Washington commit Hannah Stines led the Spartans with 23 points in addition to her usual handful of boards, assists, and defensive plays. Alissa Belen and Dhymond Zambrana each had nine points for Orangewood, and Sofia Saldivar and Brya Arroyo-Gillcrese added eight apiece.

4-star Tulsa commit Chloe Williams led all scorers with 25 points for the Knights, with 19 of them coming in a fourth quarter torrent. Jordin Blackman added 11 points for Bishop Montgomery.

Orangewood will move on to face Windward at home on Tuesday for a spot in the CIF State Division 1 championship.
