Watch: Stuart Hall's Jackson Jung discusses hitting five 3-pointers in state championship win over Chaffey

Jung finished with 20 points in the 56-45 Stuart Hall victory.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Stuart Hall's dynamic duo of Brandon Lum and Jackson Jung combined to hit eight 3-pointers in the Knights' 56-45 Division 5 CIF State championship win over Chaffey on Friday.

Overall, Lum scored 22 points and Jung scored 20 points in the win.

"There's no better feeling," Jung, who connected on five of the 3's, said postgame. "Only six teams end the season with a W so we trusted in our best player Brandon, we rallied around him, to get it done. It's a good feeling."

Stuart Hall began to pull away from Chaffey in the second quarter when Lum went on a solo 7-0 run which included a 4-point play to extend the Knights’ lead from 13-10 to 20-10. Minutes later, Jung drilled two 3-pointers of his own to put Stuart Hall up 26-14. At halftime, the Knights led 30-16.

In the second half, Chaffey hit two quick baskets to begin the third quarter but Jung killed the Tigers' momentum with his fourth 3-pointer of the game giving the Knights’ a 33-20 advantage.

Midway through the fourth quarter, Chaffey made another run culminating in a three-point play from Jonathan Jackson which cut the Tigers’ deficit to nine points, 47-38. But Stuart Hall’s players hit their free throws down the stretch to ice the game.
