1. Orange Lutheran (10-1)
Last week: 1
The Lancers have won five out of six games against No. 7 Servite and No. 8 JSerra in Trinity League play.
2. Yucaipa (9-2)
Last week: 2
Yucaipa walked off to beat No. 4 Harvard-Westlake 6-5 on Feb. 15. Last week, the Thunderbirds beat Cajon and Citrus Valley.
3. Sierra Canyon (14-0)
Last week: 3
The Trailblazers have two MLB Draft prospects in senior pitchers Jaden Noot and Kassius Thomas and so far the two aces have led Sierra Canyon to an undefeated start. The Trailblazers trailed Simi Valley 2-1 in the seventh inning last week, but used home runs from Max Martin, Kehden Hettiger and Noot to win 6-2.
4. Harvard-Westlake (11-2-1)
Last week: 4
Harvard-Westlake has won six straight Mission League games against St. Francis and Loyola.
5. Santa Margarita (12-0)
Last week: 9
Santa Margarita sweeping No. 8 JSerra last week shows that the Eagles are true Division 1 Southern Section title contenders.
6. Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) (9-4-1)
Last week: 8
The Knights went 1-1-1 against No. 4 Harvard-Westlake in their series earlier this month.
7. Servite (5-3)
Last week: 5
Servite lost three straight to No. 1 Orange Lutheran in the Trinity League last week.
8. JSerra (6-8)
Last week: 6
JSerra went 1-2 in their three game series against No. 1 Orange Lutheran two weeks ago and last week, the Lions were swept by No. 5 Santa Margarita. Star junior shortstop Trent Caraway becomes eligible this week.
9. San Dimas (8-1)
Last week: 12
San Dimas' only defeat this year came against No. 17 Arcadia.
10. Villa Park (10-1)
Last week: 13
Villa Park has won seven games in a row.
11. Arlington (13-1)
Last week: 14
Arlington has beaten No. 12 King this season. The Lions are currently on a 13 game win streak.
12. King (7-2)
Last week: 15
King beat No. 14 Huntington Beach 2-0 two weeks ago. The Wolves have won both of their Big VIII series so far this season against Norco and Corona Centennial two games to one.
13. Corona (8-2)
Last week: 17
Corona beat No. 18 South Hills two weeks ago but then fell to No. 25 Etiwanda. Last week, the Panthers swept Roosevelt in Big VIII League play.
14. Huntington Beach (7-4)
Last week: 16
Huntington Beach has had an up and down season dropping games to unranked Alemany and Newport Harbor but beating No. 8 JSerra. Last week, the Oilers beat Edison and Los Alamitos.
15. Foothill (9-5)
Last week: 8
Foothill has lost two of three to drop to No. 15 this week.
16. Newbury Park (7-2)
Last week: 10
Newbury Park lost to Granada Hills 4-0 last week, which pushes the Panthers back to No. 16.
17. Arcadia (10-4)
Last week: 11
Arcadia has some great wins on its resume -- the Apaches have beaten No. 9 San Dimas, No. 18 South Hills and No. 24 Hart -- but they've lost four in a row to drop six spots to No. 17 this week.
18. South Hills (9-3)
Last week: 18
South Hills has won four games in a row.
19. Norco (11-2)
Last week: 19
The Cougars have lost twice to No. 15 King this season -- both games were decided by one run. Last week, Norco swept Santiago.
20. Aquinas (12-0)
Last week: 20
The Falcons have allowed only 17 runs in their 12 wins this season.
21. Tesoro (10-1)
Last week: 21
Tesoro's best win came against No. 22 St. John Bosco 4-3 on Feb. 24.
22. St. John Bosco (10-1)
Last week: 22
The Braves put the Trinity League on notice sweeping Mater Dei last week.
23. Torrance (11-1-1)
Last week: 24
Torrance's only loss this season came against No. 15 Foothill.
24. Hart (8-6)
Last week: NR
The Indians have beaten No. 8 Notre Dame this season and should now rack up wins in the Foothill League.
25. Etiwanda (7-3)
Last week: 25
Etiwanda took down No. 13 Corona to to debut in the Top 25 last week.
