Meet SBLive's 2022 All-Northern Section Boys Basketball team: Pleasant Valley's Noah Thomas is Player of the Year

The All-Northern Section team is highlighted by three players from Pleasant Valley, the Division III state champion

With the 2022 California high school basketball season in the books, it's time to hand out some awards.

Here is SBLive's All-Northern Section Boys Basketball team. The All-Section team was compiled by SBLive reporter Connor Morrissette and includes a Player of the Year.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR

G: Noah Thomas - Pleasant Valley - Senior

Thomas led Pleasant Valley to both Division 3 Section and CIF State championships averaging 16.4 points per game. In Pleasant Valley's 57-53 state championship win over Venice, he scored a game high 24 points. 

ALL-SECTION TEAM

G: Demarrreya Lewis-Cooper - Enterprise, Redding - Senior

Lewis-Cooper averaged 18.1 points per game this season. He led Enterprise to the Division 3 Northern Section championship game and the Division 4 state playoffs. 

G: Ned Joyce - Pleasant Valley - Senior

Joyce had a strong season and came through for Pleasant Valley when the lights were brightest. The senior scored the go-ahead 3-pointer in the Vikings' 57-53 state championship win over Venice. In total, he hit four 3-pointers in the victory and finished with 14 points. On the season, Joyce averaged 3.5 assists per game, which led the Vikings. 

F: Luke Kremer - Pleasant Valley - Junior

Kremer was Pleasant Valley's third leading scorer this season averaging 12.5 points per game. The junior led the team in rebounding snagging 7.5 boards per game. 

F: Kameron Morphew - University Prep - Senior

With Morphew as the team's top player, University Prep went 10-0 in the Northern League and won the Division 4 Northern Section championship this year. On the season, Morphew averaged 14.2 points and 8 rebounds per game. 

F: Brady Webb - Durham - Senior

Durham won the Division 5 Northern Section title this season. Webb averaged 14.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game for the Trojans leading the team in all three categories.
