Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin loves California quarterbacks.

Having already developed former Long Beach Poly signal-caller Matt Corral and landed key USC transfer Jaxson Dart, the former USC head coach is all-in recruiting California quarterbacks in the classes of 2023 and 2024.

In 2023, Kiffin's top target may be five-star quarterback and Pittsburg High School star Jaden Rashada.

And in 2024, Ole Miss is going after Carlsbad High School five-star quarterback Julian Sayin.

That interest, it turns out, is mutual.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound gunslinger shared on social media that is set for an unofficial visit to Ole Miss this weekend:

Sayin is rated the nation's No. 7 overall prospect, No. 2 quarterback and No. 1 prospect in the state of California.

As a sophomore, he threw for 2,750 yards and 34 touchdowns, completing 72 percent of his passes.

Kiffin has also extended an early offer to Mater Dei star Elijah Brown, who is rated the nation's No. 4 signal-caller

There's no guarantee Ole Miss will continue its Kiffin-led tradition of California quarterbacks.

But if the streak does end, it certainly won't be because Kiffin stopped trying.

They'll get a chance to take a major step forward with Sayin this weekend.
