Watch: Harvard-Westlake sophomore pitcher Tommy Bridges discusses 6-0 win over Chaminade

Bridges struck out seven in the victory.

WEST HILLS, Calif. -- Harvard-Westlake sophomore Tommy Bridges threw 6 and 1/3 innings and struck out seven in a 6-0 Mission League win over Chaminade on Monday. He took a no hitter into the seventh inning before giving up a lead off single to Chaminade junior Degan Hensley. The grounder up the middle was the Eagles only hit of the afternoon.

"The baseball gods weren't with me today," Bridges joked after the game.

"I'm feeling amazing," he added on a more serious note. "Knowing that I have guys behind me who make every play for me, it's easy to be confident up there."
