NFL Draft 2022: How high will Mission Hills (California) grad Chris Olave go in round one?
The 2022 NFL Draft starts on Thursday in Las Vegas and a handful of prospects from California are projected to be taken over the three-day, seven-round draft. Ahead of Thursday, we're keying in on the likely first round picks from the Golden State. We began with Oregon defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux. Now it's time to focus on Ohio State wide receiver Chris Olave, a Mission Hills High School graduate.

The skinny: Olave burst onto the scene against Michigan as a freshman, catching two touchdown passes and blocking a punt in the Buckeyes' win over the Wolverines. Olave started 24 games at receiver during his final three seasons with the Buckeyes, catching a school record 35 touchdown passes while twice being named to the All-Big Ten First Team.

Where will Olave get picked?
Olave is one of several wide receivers that will be selected in the first round. The majority of mock drafts have him going as early as No. 13 overall to the Houston Texans and as late as the Green Bay Packers at No. 28.
