Otay Ranch grad Devin Lloyd selected 27th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft by Jacksonville Jaguars
Lloyd was named a consensus All-American this past season at the University of Utah
The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Otay Ranch grad Devin Lloyd with the 27th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft on Thursday night.
Lloyd redshirted for the Utes during his first season on campus in 2017 before playing in 47 games over the past four seasons. During this past season at Utah, Lloyd totaled 111 tackles, seven sacks, and four interceptions on his way to being named a consensus All-American.
Lloyd saw time at wide receiver, safety, and punter during his senior season at Otay Ranch. He compiled ten touchdowns for the Mustangs as a senior, including two interceptions that he returned for touchdowns.
