The Patriots swept West Valley League foe Cleveland last week.

3. El Camino Real (15-11)

Last week: 3

ECR lost two in a row to No. 1 Granada Hills, but City wins over No. 2 Birmingham, No. 4 Roosevelt, No. 8 Chatsworth and No. 10 Poly keep the Royals at No. 3.

4. Roosevelt (19-6)

Roosevelt has already clinched the Eastern League championship. When senior starter Lino Zepeda is on the hill, the Roughriders have a chance to beat any team in the City.

5. Marshall (23-3)

Last week: NR

Marshall has won 18 games in a row. The Barristers took down Sylmar 3-0 on Saturday behind an eight strike out performance from senior pitcher Daniel Vergara. Marshall hasn't played the most difficult schedule this season, but it's clear that the Barristers are an Open Division team.

6. Carson (15-10)

Last week: NR

Carson has a good chance to win the Marine League this season for the first time since the Colts split the league title with San Pedro and Banning in 2018. If Carson takes down Gardena twice this week, they'll win the league title outright.

7. San Pedro (16-8)

Last week: 5

The Pirates bounced back from a disappointing 8-5 league loss against unranked Narbonne to beat No. 10 Poly 5-3 on Saturday.

8. Chatsworth (11-12)

Last week: 6

Chatsworth split its series with Taft last week. Non-league wins over No. 9 Palisades and No. 10 Poly keeps the Chancellors in this week's top ten.

9. Palisades (19-6-1)

Last week: 7

Palisades has beaten No. 4 Roosevelt this season, but their losses to No. 7 San Pedro and No. 8 Chatsworth push the Dolphins back to No. 9 with the emergence of Marshall and Carson.

10. Poly (17-8)

Last week: 9

Poly finishes East Valley League play with two games against Grant and a third against Verdugo Hills this week. The Parrots are 9-0 in East Valley League play so far.
