Vote: Who's had the most impressive spring in California high school girls track and field?

From Clovis North 400 meter runner Takiya Cenci to Ventura distance runner Sadie Engelhardt, California is stocked with girls track and field talent.

The 2022 spring track and field season in California has been fantastic. Several of the nation's best runners, throwers and jumpers compete in the Golden State. Following the release of our "Top 2022 marks in California high school boys and girls track and field" list, we're asking California high school girls track and field fans the following question: who's had the most impressive season so far this spring?

From From Clovis North 400 meter runner Takiya Cenci to Ventura distance runner Sadie Engelhardt, the list of girls candidates are posted below. Voting ends on Sunday, May 15 at midnight.

Takiya Cenci, Clovis North, sr. 

Cenci's 400 meter time of 53.19 ranks third in the nation. 

Kennedy Clarke, Cathedral Catholic, sr.

Clarke's 47-5 shot put mark ranks ninth in the country. 

Adonijah Currie, Golden Valley (CIF-SS), jr.

Currie's 400 meter time of 53.69 is good for fifth in the country. Currie also runs on Golden Valley's 4x100 meter relay team. That group has run a 46.03 this season, which ranks sixth in the country. 

Kylee Davis, Golden Valley (CIF-SS), sr.

Similarly to Currie, Davis also runs on Golden Valley's nationally ranked 4x100 meter team. Davis' 20-.05 long jump mark ranks eighth in the nation. 

Ashanti Elie, Whitney, jr.

Elie's 5-10 high jump mark is tied for seventh in the country. 

Sadie Engelhardt, Ventura, fr.

Engelhardt's 3,200 meter time of 9:50.69 leads the nation. The freshman also leads the country in the 1,600 meters at 4:33.29. Her 800 meter time of 2:05.66 ranks third in the country. 

Dalia Frias, Mira Costa, sr.

Frias is another exceptional distance runner. She's second nationally in the 1,600 meter race and fourth in the 3,200 meter race. 

Alyssa Hope, Martin Luther King, jr.

Hope's 41-3 triple jump mark ranks ninth in the country. 

Alison Sahaida, Oak Ridge, sr.

Sahaida's 13-9 pole vault mark ranks seventh in the country.
