FULLERTON– Twenty-four of the top 2022 girls basketball players from across SoCal came together on Saturday for the first ever SBLive SoCal Senior All-Star Game, Hosted by Hope International University.

And it would be an understatement to say that there were some shooters there.

With the inaugural SBLive-HIU All-Star event came the first ever SBLive-HIU All-Star three-point contest, and more than half of the field participated.

After a four-way tiebreaker was needed to determine who would join HIU-bound Alyssa Kubo (Esperanza) in the final round, Colorado-Mesa commit Sophia Williams (Brea Olinda) prevailed as not only the other finalist, but our first ever three-point champion. In her incendiary final round, she scored 16 out of 20 possible points.
