BASEBALL:

Jordy Lopez, Franklin (Elk Grove):

Lopez went ballistic in a three-game sweep of Sheldon, throwing a no-hitter with 14 strikeouts and batting 4-7 with three walks, six RBIs, and five runs scored.

Ryan Cronk, Sierra Pacific:

Cronk threw a no-hitter against Strathmore in which he struck out 16 batters in seven innings, and even went 2-4 at bat with a double and a run scored.

Matt Moses, Del Campo:

Moses had the game of a lifetime on Wednesday, throwing a complete game with only one run allowed and hitting 4-4 with two homers and five RBIs in an 11-1 win against Christian Brothers. In three total wins against the Falcons on the week, he hit 6-10, walked twice, and scored eight runs.

Trey Bennett, Etna:

In a two-game sweep of Shasta, Bennett threw a no-hitter and also chipped in two doubles and a walk in seven at-bats with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Elias Grosfoguel, Lowell:

Grosfoguel slugged the Cardinals to a 4-0 week batting 8-9 with a home run, a triple, two doubles, 10 RBIs, and seven runs scored.

Jacob Baca, Encinal:

Baca went 5-5 with two doubles and six RBIs in one game, a 15-4 win against Hayward.

Noah Sparks, Golden Sierra:

In three games, Sparks hit 7-10 with three extra-base hits and seven RBIs, and gave up just two runs in 13 innings on the mound with 15 K's.

Julian Fong-McAdams, Lincoln (San Francisco):

In three games, Fong-McAdams hit 7-12 with a walk and scored three times, and also gave up just one earned run in 7.2 innings of work on the mound with 11 strikeouts.

Isac Mandujano, Dos Palos:

In just two games, Mandujano hit two home runs, two doubles, and a triple in seven at-bats in addition to two walks, driving in eight and scoring five times.

Jayden Espinoza, Turlock Christian:

Espinoza hit 6-7 with two doubles, a walk, and five RBIs, and came around to score three times in a pair of routs of Big Valley Christian.

Ryan Warkentin, Reedley:

Warkentin hit a perfect 6-6 with a triple in a pair of 11-0 wins over McLane, driving in two runs and scoring four times.

Andrew Perry, Leroy Greene Academy:

Perry batted 5-7 with a homer, a triple, two doubles, a walk, five RBIs, and five runs scored in two lopsided wins over Western Sierra Collegiate Academy.

Rick Vidal, Santa Teresa:

Vidal hit a perfect 5-5 with two doubles and two walks, and scored three times in two games against Branham.

Benny Maxinoski, Ponderosa:

Maxinoski hit 5-6 with five RBIs and two walks, and threw four scoreless innings in a three-game sweep of Rio Linda.

Jake Harvey, Woodcreek:

Harvey led the Timerwbolves to a 3-1 record hitting 9-14 with three extra-base hits, two walks, four RBIs, two stolen bases, and four runs scored.

Albert Cano, Bishop Union:

Cano batted 6-8 with three extra-base hits in two lopsided wins last week, driving in six and scoring thrice.

Tripp Garrish, Carlmont:

Garrish threw a complete game shutout and hit 2-5 with two walks in two wins against Capuchino.

Jojo Salazar, Skyline:

Salazar went 3-3 with a double and drew three walks to score four runs in two big Titan wins.

Lucas Kelly, Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep:

Kelly helped guide the Irish to a pair of big WCAL wins batting 5-8 with two doubles, two walks, and three runs scored.

Cal Amborn, Archie Williams:

Amborn helped the Falcons sweep Terra Linda in two games, hitting 5-8 with two doubles and three runs scored, and also throwing three perfect innings.

Trent Toole, Stevenson:

Toole threw six innings with no earned runs allowed and went 5-7 at the plate to score three runs as the Pirates went 2-0.

Lucas Klimek, Chester:

Klimek threw a complete game one-hitter in a 9-1 win against Redding Christian. He also hit 4-9 with a walk in three games and scored all five times he reached base.

Mitchell Parsons, Mammoth:

Parsons helped lead the Huskies to a 2-0 week hitting 5-8 with a double, a triple, a walk, six RBIs, and four runs.

Wyatt King, Saint Francis (Mountain View):

King drove in 11 runs in two games, both wins, hitting 4-9 with a long ball, two doubles, and two runs scored.

Michael Barnett, College Park:

Barnett threw a one-hitter and shutout against Cardinal Newman, allowing only one walk and striking out nine.

Owen Dueck, Aptos:

Dueck batted 5-8 with six RBIs and pitched two scoreless innings for the 3-0 Mariners.

Jordan Bolden, Clayton Valley Charter:

Bolden hit 6-9 with a homer, a triple, a double, and six runs scored in a two-game sweep of Miramonte.

Michael Santos-LaPlaca, Kennedy (Sacramento):

Santos-LaPlaca hit 10-16 with a home run, two doubles, two walks, and three RBIs in five games with two stolen bases and five runs.

McGuire Smith, Liberty (Madera):

Smith went 4-5 with a long ball, two walks, and four RBIs in two wins against Sierra, scoring five runs and also contributing two scoreless innings on the mound.

Michael J Ryan, Gridley:

In a two-game sweep of Orland, Ryan hit 5-8 with three extra-base hits and a walk, drove in two runs, scored four times, and struck out the side in an inning on the mound.

SOFTBALL:

Katie Marsh, Lassen:

Marsh was unconscious at the plate in all four Grizzlies games/wins last week, going 12-14 with five homers, three triples, a double, two walks, 13 RBIs, and 12 runs scored.

Ana Niles, Ponderosa:

Niles was credited with the win in not one but two no-hitters for the Bruins, throwing three hitless innings against West Park in a combined no-hitter with Chase Mueller before going all seven innings to no-hit Lincoln (Lincoln) the next game. She also went 2-7 with a double and two RBIs at the dish.

Liliana Rojas, Ben Holt College Prep:

Rojas hit a perfect 8-8, seven of which were extra-base hits, with a walk and six RBIs in a pair of blowouts against Delta Charter.

Sophia Tyler, Marysville:

Tyler threw a no-hitter against Foothill (Palo Cedro) and even added a hit, a walk, and a run scored on offense. She also hit 3-4 with two RBIs and scored two runs in a rout of Bear River.

Maddy Leung, Encinal:

In four games, Leung hit 10-11 and walked thrice to reach base in 13 of 14 plate appearances and drive in eight runs. Half her hits were for extra bases and three of them were home runs, she stole three bases, and she came around to score nine times.

Mariah Segura, Watsonville:

Segura went superhuman at the plate on Wednesday to lift the Wildcatz to a 16-15 win over San Benito, going 4-5 with three home runs and seven RBIs.

Raimy Gamsby, Vintage:

After throwing two perfect innings and striking out six five against Casa Grande on Tuesday, Gamsby followed it by throwing a no-hitter with 16 K's against American Canyon on Thursday. She also batted 2-6 with an RBI in those games.

Madeleine Bermudez, San Benito:

In two games, Bermudez hit 6-9 with a double, a walk, and three RBIs, and went on to score six runs.

Randi Roelling, Central Catholic:

Roelling pitched complete game shutouts against both Kimball and East Union, and allowed a total of three hits to 36 strikeouts in 14 innings. At the plate, she went 5-7 with a home run.

Rexanne Walker, Cupertino:

After throwing five innings and six innings with no earned runs allowed in Cupertino victories, Walker finished the week with a no-hitter against Santa Clara in which she struck out 10. She also hit 3-9 with a double, a triple, and three RBIs.

Madison Clark, Calaveras:

In just two games, both blowout wins, Clark batted 8-9 with two homers, a triple, a double, and 10 RBIs, scoring all eight times she reached base.

Olivia Rivera, Maria Carrillo:

Rivera went off for three home runs, a double, a triple, and nine total hits in 11 at-bats last week in addition to a walk. In three games, she also drove in six runs and scored five times.

Zereniti Sousa, Wheatland:

Sousa led the Pirates to a two-game sweep of Las Plumas hitting 7-8 with three homers, a double, nine RBIs, and five runs scored.

Emma Falen, Folsom:

Falen threw complete game victories with no earned runs allowed against Del Oro and Granite Bay, notching a one-hitter against the Golden Eagles and striking out a total of 22.

Lucy Hendricks, Fort Bragg:

Hendricks helped lead the Timberwolves to a 3-0 week hitting 10-12 with two walks, six RBIs, and nine runs.

Keira Lacayo, Balboa:

Lacayo threw a one-hit shutout with 13 K's against Lincoln (San Francisco), and outhit and outscored her competition by going 2-3 with a walk, an RBI, and a run.

Samantha Rocha, Notre Dame (Salinas):

Rocha pitched complete games with only one run allowed against both Salinas and Watsonville, striking out 23 in 12 innings. That was in addition to hitting 4-6 with a double and four RBIs.

Hazyl Gray, Vanden:

Gray tossed a one-hit shutout with 14 strikeouts against Armijo and hit 3-7 with a walk and two RBIs on the week.

Ariel Nava, St. Mary's (Stockton):

Nava hit 4-4 with two home runs and a double in a victory against Tracy, and got a win in the circle in both games last week for the Rams. She allowed only two earned runs in 12 innings and struck out 17.

Jacquelyn Lujan, Orestimba:

Lujan threw a one-hitter with no earned runs allowed and 13 strikeouts in a 3-1 win against Mariposa County, struck out every hitter she faced (except for one walk) in three scoreless innings against Waterford, and hit a combined 4-7 with three doubles, two RBIs, and two runs.

Kealani Miranda, Franklin (Elk Grove):

Miranda hit 6-8 with three doubles, four RBIs, and three runs scored in two games.

Sammy Smith, Vista del Lago:

Smith batted 7-9 with three doubles and a walk, scoring a total of six runs in three games.

Brianna Humphreys, Dixon:

Humphreys went a perfect 5-5 with a home run in a rout of Mesa Verde, both driving in and scoring four runs.

Sammy Horn, Marin Catholic:

Horn batted a perfect 7-7 in two blowout wins, driving in two runs and scoring twice.

Savannah Warman, Union Mine:

Warman went 5-5 with four extra-base hits and a whopping seven RBIs in just one game, a 22-16 loss against Rosemont.

Sofia Ramirez, Elliot Christian:

Ramirez went 4-4, stole two bases, and scored all four times she reached in a 23-4 victory over Venture Academy.

Adyson Kim, Mills:

Kim hit 8-11 with three extra-base hits, nine RBIs, and six runs scored in three games. She also got a win in the circle against Menlo-Atherton, allowing just one run in five innings with 10 strikeouts.

Danielle Hunter, Lincoln (Stockton):

Hunter went 8-13 at bat, and was credited with two wins in the circle for going 11 total innings and holding opponents to four earned runs.

Kylie Nelson, Granite Bay:

Nelson batted 8-11 with two RBIs for the 2-1 Grizzlies.

Jordyn Wurzer, West Valley:

Wurzer helped lead the Eagles to a dominant three-game sweep of Yreka batting 7-12 with two home runs, two doubles, and 10 RBIs.

Ryan Maddox, Clovis North:

Maddox tossed a complete game shutout with 14 strikeouts against Clovis East, and hit a pair of doubles in four at-bats to drive in a run and would score both times. She also nearly lifted the Broncos to a win over Clovis with a herculean effort, going 11 innings without giving up more than one run before losing 2-1 in the 12th. In that one, Maddox racked up 19 strikeouts and also hit 4-6 – something you don't exactly see every day.

Riley Wickum, Sutter:

Wickum threw two one-hit shutouts against Corning, striking out 25 in 12 innings.

Brinnon Biegel, Sierra Pacific:

In an 18-2 rout of Strathmore, Biegel hit two doubles and two triples in four at-bats to drive in six runners and score three times. She also threw four scoreless innings with nine K's and only one hit allowed.

Kailani Tatro, Pinole Valley:

Tatro pitched complete game victories against both Sonoma Valley and Encinal, allowing just three earned runs in 14 innings and racking up 20 K's. She also went 3-8 at the dish with a double, three RBIs, and two runs.

Giselle Aguirre, Caruthers:

Aguirre hit 7-10 with two big flies, a double, a walk, and six runs scored in three games.

Haley Ocumen, Willow Glen:

Ocumen hit 6-11 with two home runs (including a grand slam), two doubles, eight RBIs, and a walk in three lopsided wins, crossing home plate five times.

Isabel Ohanian, Del Mar:

Ohanian hit 7-9 with a double, a triple, a walk, three RBIs, and seven runs scored for the 2-0 Dons.

Alexa Couto, Notre Dame (Belmont):

Couto helped lead the Tigers to a 2-0 week hitting 4-7 with two long balls, a double, six RBIs, and five runs scored.

Sakora Harvell, Sheldon:

Harvell hit 6-8 with three RBIs and two runs scored for the 2-0 Huskies.

Giana Quintanar, Clovis East:

Despite having to pitch an extra inning, Quintanar threw a three-hit shutout and also went 1-3 with a walk to defeat Clovis West.

Emmie Walker, Coalinga:

Walker batted 5-7 with a homer and three doubles, both driving in and scoring five runs for the 2-0 Horned Toads.

Ava Montesdeoca, Ceres:

Montesdeoca batted 6-7 with a walk and two RBIs, and scored five runs total in wins against Mountain House and Los Banos.

Soli Morin, McClatchy:

Morin hit 5-7 with a walk and scored twice in two games.

Thomara Drummer, San Rafael:

Drummer led the Bulldogs to a 2-0 week by hitting 4-6 with a walk, throwing six innings for a win with only two earned runs allowed against San Marin, and throwing six scoreless innings with 11 K's and just two hits against Tamalpais.
