NORTH TUSTIN, Calif. -- Foothill's Andrew Parker hit a walk-off single to beat Santa Margarita 5-4 in the second round of the Division 2 Southern Section baseball playoffs on Tuesday.
Parker's game-winning poke came on a 3-2 count with two outs. One more strike would have taken the game to extra innings.
"We practice these things, practice these situations," Parker said.
Foothill will host Huntington Beach in the Division 1 Southern Section quarterfinals on Friday.
