2023 Long Beach Poly cornerback Daylen Austin committed to LSU on Monday. He made the announcement on social media.
In his junior season, Austin battled an injury to begin the year but then returned to help lead Long Beach Poly to the Division 4 Southern Section championship. The Jackrabbits took down the Golden Knights of St. Francis 38-7 to win the D4 crown. Austin made 44 tackles, intercepted two passes and forced a fumble as a junior.
Austin is a four star recruit. 247Sports.com ranks him as the No. 22 cornerback in the Class of 2023.
