Pleasant broke the state record in the 100 meter dash running a 10.14.
MOORPARK, CALIF. -- Track and field athletes from all across the Southern Section traveled to Moorpark High School on Saturday for the Southern Section Masters Meet. The top performers at the Masters Meet qualify for next weekend's state championship meet in Clovis, California.
Gardena Serra junior Rodrick Pleasant ran a blazing fast 10.14 100 meter dash to qualify for the state meet. The 10.14 mark set a new California high school record.
