BASEBALL:

Ryan Christiansen, Rio Americano:

Christiansen went off for a 7-9 line with two home runs, a double, and eight RBIs, and scored three runs as the Raiders thrashed Lodi in a two-game series.

Gavin Farinha, Turlock Christian:

Farinha led the Eagles to a two-game sweep of Vacaville Christian by throwing a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and hitting a total of 3-6 with two walks and two RBIs.

Jon Herren, Fresno Christian:

Herren erupted for a 7-9 week with three doubles, a walk, six RBIs, and three runs scored to help lead the Eagles to a 2-0 record.

Cooper Lanz, Buhach Colony:

Lanz threw a no-hitter in the Thunder's 8-0 win in their 2-1 series loss against Del Campo, and scored three runs in that game.

Justin Jones, Las Lomas:

Jones went seven innings for a no-hitter in a 3-0 win against Eureka.

Devon Benningfield, Washington (San Francisco):

In a 6-1 win against Lowell for a San Francisco Section AAA title, Benningfield threw a complete game victory with only one run allowed and hit 2-4 with a triple, an RBI, and a run scored.

Anthony Scheppler, San Marin:

Scheppler helped lead the Mustangs to a 2-0 week hitting 4-6 with a homer, two triples, a walk, and six RBIs, and scored all five times he reached base.

Triston Gray, Madera South:

In two playoffs wins, Gray tossed seven innings for two wins, allowing only one total run and fanning 13. He also batted 3-4 with a walk, an RBI, and two runs scored.

Ethan Lay, Colusa:

Lay helped lead the RedHawks to a Northern Section Division 4 title by throwing a complete game shutout and hitting 2-5 with a double, two walks, and two runs scored in two games.

Connor Babler, Sutter:

Babler hit 6-10 with three extra-base hits, six RBIs, and two runs scored in three games to help the Huskies win the Northern Section D3 title.

Jakson Bucher, Liberty (Madera):

Bucher helped slug the Hawks to two playoff victories batting 5-8 with four extra-base hits and three RBIs, and scoring four runs. He also got a save from a scoreless, hitless inning of work with two K's against Atascadero.

Manny Dorantes, Salinas:

Dorantes pitched a three-hit shutout and hit 2-4 with an RBI to lead the Cowboys past Westmont.

Elijah White, Alpha Charter:

White hit 6-8 with three extra-base hits and two RBIs, and scored four runs in a two-game sweep of Bear River.

Aidan Robertson, Exeter:

Robertson threw a two-hit shutout and added a base hit in a 7-0 win against North (Bakersfield).

Rico Merlo, Durham:

Merlo hit 3-4 with an RBI and scored a run in a 6-4 win against Quincy, and then threw a one-hitter to beat East Nicolaus 1-0 for the new CIFNS D5 champion.

Jaden Brockman, Sierra (Tollhouse):

Brockman hit 3-6 with a home run, a triple, and four RBIs, and scored each time he reached base in a pair of wins.

Tom Reed, Berean Christian:

Reed pitched 7.2 innings across two shutout wins for the Eagles, striking out 13, and batting 2-4 with a double and two runs scored. Three of his innings on the mound were part of a combined no-hitter against Upper Lake.

Jack Halloran, Sacred Heart Prep:

Halloran tossed a complete game shutout and two-hitter with 10 strikeouts in a 7-0 win versus Scotts Valley.

Trey Bennett, Etna:

In two playoff wins to win the Northern Section Division 6 title, Bennett pitched five innings with only one earned run allowed, and hit 4-6 with a homer, five RBIs, and four runs scored.

Samuel Phillips, Farmersville:

Phillips went 4-6 with a double, walked twice, and scored five runs in two games.

Jack Anker, Tulare Western:

Anker threw 6.2 scoreless innings with only two hits allowed and 12 strikeouts in a 4-0 win against Paso Robles, and also hit a single in three at-bats.

Michael Klein, Central:

Klein got two wins on the mound, giving up two runs in nine innings of work. He also batted 2-6 and scored two runs.

Trent Toole, Stevenson:

Toole guided the Pirates to a 2-1 win over Terra Nova by throwing a complete game and going 1-3 at the plate with an RBI.

Jonathan Suarez, Burlingame:

Suarez hit 3-3 with a triple and four RBIs, and scored two runs in a 12-0 rout of Homestead.

Henry Bolte, Palo Alto:

Bolte helped power the Vikings to an 11-10 win against Carlmont going 3-4 with a homer, a double, and a walk, and scoring all four times he reached base.

Drew Vizenor, St. Bernard's:

Vizenor batted 3-4 with four RBIs and a triple in a 12-0 blowout of Tomales.

T.J. Hays, Archbishop Mitty:

Hays hit 2-2 with a triple, a walk, and four RBIs, and scored two runs in a 10-0 blowout of Leigh.

Andrew Crockett, The Bay School:

Crockett hit 6-8 with two RBIs across two playoff games.

Gabe Henderson, McClatchy:

Henderson helped the Lions sweep Franklin (Elk Grove) in two games by throwing a two-hit shutout in one game and batting 2-3 with a run and an RBI in the other.

Matt Garcia, Branham:

Garcia went 3-4 with three RBIs in a 4-1 win over San Benito.

EJ McGrew, Saint Mary's (Albany):

McGrew pitched six scoreless innings with 12 strikeouts and went 1-3 with two RBIs and a run scored in a 7-0 win over Fort Bragg.

Ben Cleary, Serra (San Mateo):

Cleary went 2-5 with a home run and five RBIs in a 9-4 victory against Mountain View.

Stevie Cherry, Marysville:

In a two-game sweep of Marysville, Cherry hit 3-4 and scored a run in the second game after throwing six scoreless innings for a win with 11 strikeouts in the first game.

Troy Frazier, Fremont Christian:

In two wins, Frazier hit 2-5 and drew two walks to score a total of five runs, and pitched seven innings with 14 strikeouts and only one earned run allowed.

Nick Andrews, Justin-Siena:

Andrews tossed six shutout innings with 11 K's and hit 1-2 with a walk, an RBI, and a run scored in a 7-0 victory against Healdsburg.

Joseph Brown, Petaluma:

Brown hit 4-7 with a home run, a walk, three RBIs, and two runs scored for the 2-0 Trojans.

Evan Bishop, Granite Bay:

Bishop hit 2-5 with two doubles and five RBIs in a two-game sweep of Rodriguez.

Alec Nava, De La Salle:

Nava hit 5-8 with two doubles and went on to score all five times he reached in two playoff wins.

Nick Walsh, Foothill (Pleasanton):

Walsh hit 4-8 with two doubles and four RBIs as the Eagles went 2-0.

Landon Carter, Bradshaw Christian:

Carter hit 3-6 with four RBIs and scored all three times in an emphatic two-game sweep of BHCPA.

Jacob Anteneh, Bishop O'Dowd:

Anteneh batted 5-8 with two doubles and three RBIs in two playoff games.

SOFTBALL:

Aissa Silva, Elk Grove:

Silva threw a no-hitter with 16 strikeouts to beat Atwater, and followed it up with a two-hit shutout with 12 K's to beat St. Mary's (Stockton). She also batted a total of 2-4 with a triple, a walk, an RBI, and a sacrifice bunt.

Ava Hernandez, Big Valley Christian:

Hernandez tossed back-to-back no-hitters against Foresthill and Vacaville Christian – the ladder of which was coming off a 17-run performance – before throwing another complete game victory against Stone Ridge Christian in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division 7 finals with three runs allowed. She also hit 3-7 with a double, five walks, three RBIs, and a runs scored on the week.

Hazyl Gray, Vanden:

Gray no-hit Rosemont with 11 K's in five innings, and also hit 2-2 with a double, a triple, a walk, and two RBIs in the Vikings' 18-0 blowout win.

Charlize Cai, Vista Del Lago:

Cai led the Eagles to lopsided wins over Oakmont and Ponderosa hitting 6-7 with a home run, two RBIs, and three runs scored, and throwing complete games with one run allowed and 17 K's in 13 innings.

Mae Thackeray, Etna:

In 15 innings across three games for the Northern Section champion, Thackeray gave up zero runs and only four total hits, striking out 25.

Callie Howard, Cardinal Newman:

Howard led the Cardinals to routs of Lick-Wilmerding and Piedmont hitting 5-8 with four doubles, nine RBIs, and five runs scored, plus 11 scoreless innings in the circle.

Reina Zermeno, Sheldon:

In playoff routs of Johnson and Gregori, Zermeno hit 6-7 with two homers, three triples, and five RBIs, and came around to score all six times.

Delainey Everett, Oakdale:

Everett tossed a five-inning no-hitter against Beyer and threw another four hitless innings in a rout of Manteca, striking out 16 in nine innings. She also hit a combined 2-5 with two doubles, a walk, an RBI, and a run scored.

Taylor Rodriguez, Livermore:

Rodriguez threw shutouts with 14 K's each against Ukiah and Casa Grande, the former of which was a five-inning no-hitter. She also went 2-5 with an RBI at the dish.

Shelby Morse, Vintage:

In playoff routs of Pittsburg and California, Morse hit 5-7 with a homer, a double, and five RBIs, and threw a two-hit shutout against Pittsburg.

Peja Goold, Lincoln (Stockton):

Goold pitched 10 scoreless innings with only two hits allowed and 24 K's, and hit 4-8 with two RBIs in shutout wins against Stagg and Whitney (Rocklin).

Malaya Johnson, Roseville:

Johnson tossed complete game victories against Vacaville and Granite Bay, allowing just one run in 14 innings with 20 strikeouts. She also hit 3-5 with a homer, a walk, and three RBIs.

Emma Falen, Folsom:

Falen threw a two-hit shutout against Pleasant Grove with 12 K's in a 4-0 win against Pleasant Grove after throwing three perfect innings in a blowout of Chavez (Stockton).

Hope Jenkins, St. Francis (Sacramento):

Jenkins threw complete games for wins against Cordova and River Valley, allowing a total of four hits and one run in 14 innings with 23 strikeouts. She also hit 2-7 with a home run.

Cassiti Baroni, Fort Bragg:

Baroni helped guide the Wolves to wins over St. Joseph Notre Dame and St. Vincent de Paul throwing a total 14 innings with one earned run allowed and 22 K's, in addition to hitting 4-7 with two doubles and two RBIs.

Randi Roelling, Central Catholic:

Roelling gave up only one run and five hits total with 30 strikeouts in complete game wins against Pioneer and Merced. She also drove in a run in each game.

Alainna Cox, Linden:

Cox hit 6-8, executed a sac bunt, and scored three runs in two playoff games.

Gianna Carrion, Woodland Christian:

Carrion steered the Cardinals to a CIFSJS Division 6 title throwing three complete games with five earned runs allowed in 21 innings and hitting 4-9 with a walk and four RBIs.

Danica Black, Orcutt Academy:

In two playoff wins, Black threw complete games with 16 K's and only one earned run allowed, and batted 4-7 with a double, a walk, two RBIs, and a run scored.

Cali Cole, Stone Ridge Christian:

Cole threw a one-hitter with 13 K's in five innings and batted 3-3 with a homer and four RBIs in a 12-0 trouncing of Alpha Charter.

Summer Lagomarsino, Heritage (Brentwood):

Lagomarsino hit 3-4 with a double and six RBIs in two playoff victories.

Lily Rosen, Albany:

Rosen hit 5-7 with a triple, a double, a walk, six RBIs, and four runs scored in two games.

Tiare Guerrero, Rancho Cotate:

Guerrero batted 4-6 with two doubles and an RBI in two playoff contests, and scored all four times.

Rashelle Ver Steeg, Mt. Whitney:

Ver Steeg went 6-8 with two doubles and a walk, and scored six runs in two playoff games.

Lola Whalen, Encinal:

Whalen hit 3-5 with two homers, a walk, and six RBIs in a high-scoring win against Acalanes.

Noemi Uribe, Washington Union:

Uribe hit 5-9 with a double and scored three runs to help the Panthers make the CIFCS Division 5 semifinals.

Rachel Block, Head-Royce:

Block tossed a two-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts and hit 1-3 with an RBI to help the Jayhawks beat Credo 2-0.

Alyanna "Yaya" Gonzalez, Kingsburg:

Gonzalez threw a four-hit shutout against Clovis East and gave up only two runs against Arroyo Grande to help put the Vikings in the Central Section D2 semifinals, striking out 17 total and also driving in two runs on offense against Clovis East.

Maris Pinheiro, Tulare Union:

Pinheiro hit 5-8 with four extra-base hits, two RBIs, and three runs scored in two games.

Stefania Bilyeu, Los Altos:

Bilyeu went 4-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored in a 16-5 win against Design Tech.
