In June, we put out our All Sac-Joaquin Section softball team. Now, it's your turn to say who you think was the best softball player in the CIFSJS this past season.

P Randi Roelling – Central Catholic – JR.

A Cal commit and the 49ers Sac-Hi Sports South Pitcher of the Year, Roelling led the Raiders to a 27-5-1 record and the Sac-Joaquin Section D3 finals with her two-way play. She went 18-4 with a 0.72 ERA and led the state in strikeouts by a large margin with a total of 418 in 183.2 innings. Roelling also batted .320 with 26 RBIs, stole 14 bases, and hit a team-high six home runs.

P Delainey Everett – Oakdale – JR.

The Mississippi State commit and 49ers Sac-Hi Sports South Player of the Year led the 26-3-1 Mustangs to the Division 3 semifinals going 13-3 with a 0.47 ERA and 196 K's. She also batted .451 with six home runs, 35 RBIs, and a 1.441 OPS.

P Peja Goold – Lincoln (Stockton) – SR.

The Chattanooga commit helped lead the Trojans to the Division 1 finals and a Division II Regional title going 18-4 with a 0.96 ERA and 311 strikeouts in 160 innings. Goold also hit .304 with five home runs and 30 RBIs, and additionally spent some time playing infield.

P Emma Falen – Folsom – SR.

Falen went 10-1 with a 0.39 ERA and 212 strikeouts in 126 innings. She is committed to UC Riverside.

P Hazyl Gray – Vanden – SR.

The Santa Clara commit went 15-1 with a 0.93 ERA for the Division 3 semifinalist, and also hit .429 with six homers, 32 RBIs, 24 runs scored, and a 1.361 OPS.

P Aissa Silva – Elk Grove – JR.

Silva went 19-6 with a 0.54 ERA and 320 strikeouts in 167.1 innings for one of the section's better teams. In addition to earning 49ers Sac-Hi Sports North Pitcher of the Year honors, she hit .357 with 23 RBIs and an OPS above 1.000.

P Ava Hernandez – Big Valley Christian – SO.

Hernandez dominated on a two-way basis for the CIFSJS Division 7 champion and NorCal Division V victor. She hit .522 with 26 RBIs, 36 runs scored, and 15 total extra-base hits, stole 13 bases, and went 21-5 with a 0.99 ERA and 317 K's in 169.1 innings.

P Caroline Grimes – Del Oro – SR.

Grimes, a UC Davis commit, hit over .400 with five homers and 27 RBIs for the Division 2 champion, and also went 15-3 in 143.1 innings of work.

P Hope Jenkins – St. Francis (Sacramento) – SR.

The UConn commit hit .512 with eight home runs, 31 RBIs, and a 1.517 OPS for the Division 2 finalist. Jenkins also went 24-5 with over 300 K's in 192 innings in the circle.

C Grace Jenkins – St. Francis (Sacramento) – SR.

Jenkins helped power the Troubadors to the Sac-Joaquin Section Division 2 finals hitting .489 with 12 homers, 37 RBIs, 37 runs scored, and a 1.570 OPS. The UConn commit also had an impressive fielding percentage of .996.

INF Tayler Biehl – Vista Del Lago – SR.

Biehl helped lead the Eagles to a CIFSJS Division 3 title hitting .590 with eight home runs, 27 total extra-base hits, and 33 RBIs on her way to a 1.832 OPS. The Arizona commit also stole 19 bases and scored a total of 48 runs.

INF Amanda Bricker – Oakdale – SR.

The Cal Baptist commit helped power the Mustangs to the Division 3 semifinals hitting .506 with three home runs, 20 extra-base hits, 31 RBIs, and 30 runs scored.

INF Brianna Humphries – Dixon – SR.

Humphries, a San Diego Christian College commit, powered the 24-2-1 Rams to both sectional and Regional titles at the Division 4 level batting .580 with a massive 1.844 OPS. She totaled 13 homers, 26 extra-base hits, 51 RBIs, 10 stolen bases, and 45 runs scored.

INF Caitlynn Campbell – Ripon – SR.

Campbell was tied atop the section in homers with 14 of them in just 23 games. The UC Davis commit registered a .431 batting average, 1.667 OPS, 28 RBIs, 16 stolen bases, and 30 runs scored.

INF Olivia Robison – Del Oro – SR.

An Idaho State commit and catcher who plays the corner positions as well, Robison hit .427 with 10 homers and 30 RBIs for the Division 2 champion and Regional Division I semifinalist.

OF Dakota Kennedy – Sheldon – SR.

The section's top position player by many accounts, Kennedy helped lead Sheldon to a Division 1 title playing at an elite level both at the plate and in the outfield. The Arizona signee batted .465 with 42 RBIs and team-highs of 13 home runs, 1.565 OPS, 13 stolen bases, and 52 runs scored.

OF Mia Santos – Vanden – SR.

Santos helped guide the Vikings to a 20-1 record and Division 3 semifinals appearance hitting .627 with a 1.354 OPS. The Chico State commit had 42 hits, 27 stolen bags, and 28 runs scored in just 21 games.

OF Andrea Lira – St. Mary's (Stockton) – SR.

The Nevada signee hit .561 with 24 extra-base hits, a 1.463 OPS, and 36 runs scored. Lira was third in the section with 35 steals as well.

OF Jenissa Conway – Marysville – SR.

The Michigan commit was one of the most statistically dominant players in the section for the Division 4 finalist. She hit .567 with eight long balls and an enormous 1.865 OPS, swiped 24 bags and scored 43 runs, and had a perfect fielding percentage on the season.

UTIL Reina Zermeno – Sheldon – SR.

Zermeno, a San Jose State commit hit .505 with six home runs, 38 RBIs, 42 runs, and an OPS above .500 for the Division 1 champs. She also went all season without making an error as a C/UTIL.

UTIL Daniella Hunter – Lincoln (Stockton) – JR.

Hunter hit .375 and blasted 13 home runs with 36 RBIs for one of the section's best teams, and played multiple infield positions in addition to contributing at pitcher.

UTIL Imani Black – Sheldon – SR.

Black batted .453 with 48 total hits, 23 extra-base hits, 26 RBIs, and 39 runs scored for the Division 1 champ. She's committed to Sacramento State.

UTIL Kendal Manley – Del Oro – SR.

Manley was quite arguably the section's top power hitter during the playoffs at DP for the Golden Eagles, hitting a home run in all four sectional playoff games for the D2 champs.
