Watch: Clovis West coach, game heroes Marshel Sanders, Ryan Markarian after win over Buchanan

A 45-yard pass, catch and run win it for Eagles in the final minute to knock off No. 1 Bears

CLOVIS, Calif. — Buchanan was in the midst of one of those seasons. Comfortable rallying from behind. Even top opponents.

Once again, the Bears rallied and seemingly had pulled out another barn-burner in a battle of the Central Section's top two teams.

Instead, quarterback Ryan Markarian and Marshel Sanders had their own script. They flipped on the Bears, hooking up for a 45-yard touchdown connection with 35 seconds left to pull out a thrilling 29-22 game on Friday at Lamonica Stadium.

Listen (in video above) to Clovis West coach Eric Brown, along with Markarian and Sanders describe the final seconds and what it feels like to now be on top of the Central Section heap to SBLive Central Section reporter Chris Aguirre.

For now.
