Winters running back Justice Madsen is SBLive's Northern California Athlete of the Week

The senior two-sport standout puts up huge numbers, running and catching the ball to win the award from Sept. 22-24

One way or another, Justice Madsen will find a way to beat you.

The 5-foot-9, 185-pound senior from Winters piled up 297 yards of total offense and four touchdowns in a 49-26 win over Williams on Sept. 23 to win the SBLive Northern California Athlete of the Week contest.

Madsen's performance was good enough to get him nominated with 25 other finalists for the award for athletes who participated with games between Sept. 22-24.

Then it was put to a vote, where Madsen won handily with 56.63 percent of the public's vote with 7,190 tallies.
