SBLive's Central Coast Section Fab 15 football rankings: Aptos shocks Salinas, moves up to No. 7

Salinas looked battled tested and bullet proof. 

It had huge wins over at traditional Bay Area powers Clayton Valley Charter-Concord (21-14) and Valley Christian-San Jose (55-28) and another blowout win over Central Section power Clovis (50-34). 

The Cowboys cruised undefeated right into an away game versus the buzzsaw that is Aptos and got a little jig-sawed. 

Despite piling up 480 yards including 429 total yards and five touchdowns from quarterback Adam Shaffer, Salinas fell short to the Mariners who piled up 387 yards on the ground, including 205 and three scores by Caden Prichard. 

It made for one heck of a game and helped reshape the SBLive weekly Central Coast Section Fab 15 football rankings. 

Salinas, which came into the game ranked third, dropped to eighth, while Aptos climbed five spots from No. 12 to No. 7. 

The Pacific Coast Athletic League Gabilan Division contest was the highlight of another great week in the CCS.
