Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Northern California High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 13-15 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday at 11:59 p.m and the winner will be announced the following Monday. Here are the performances from all the nominees: 

Christian Aguilar, a quarterback for Clayton Valley Charter-Concord, completed 18 of 21 passes for 331 yards and five touchdowns in a 49-14 win over California-San Ramon.

William Augenstein, a quarterback for Branham-San Jose, rushed for 180 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 172 yards and another score in a 42-22 win over Independence.

Hunter Babb, a running back for Caruthers, rushed 15 times for 312 yards and five touchdowns in a 49-12 win over Chowchilla.

Alex Barkley, a senior quarterback at Vacaville, was nearly perfect, completing 17 of 18 passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns in a 44-6 win over Armijo.

Jasiah Bateman, a senior quarterback for Antelope, completed 24 of 36 for 540 yards and six touchdowns in a 53-51 win over Sonora.

Nate Bell, a senior quarterback for Liberty-Brentwood, accounted for five touchdowns in a 35-6 win over Antioch. Bell threw for three touchdowns and ran for two while accounting for more than 200 yards.

Andrew Camarillo, a running back for Orosi, rushed 41 times for 436 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-14 win over Woodlake.

Bo Coronado, a quarterback for Colusa (8-0), threw for 245 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-0 win over Live Oak.

Grant Foster, a senior quarterback and defensive back for unbeaten Orland, rushed 26 times for 173 yards and three touchdowns, and he had three solo tackles on defense in a 49-21 win over Las Plumas.

Marino Fragata, a quarterback for Johnson-Sacramento, completed 22 of 26 for 520 yards and eight touchdowns in a 52-14 win over Cordova.

Jordan Fuentes, a senior running back for Live Oak-Morgan Hill, rushed 33 times for 249 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Acorns to a 42-14 win over Lincoln-San Jose.

John Hanna, a senior running back for Carlmont-Belmont, rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-8 win over Jefferson.

Trevor Hargis, a senior quarterback for Whitney, threw for 356 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-30 loss to Del Oro.

Drew Henderson, a junior quarterback for Berkeley, completed 18 of 32 passes for 384 yards and six touchdowns in a 44-41 win at Hayward.

Gage Houser, a quarterback for Pioneer-San Jose, threw for 330 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-21 win over Silver Creek-San Jose.

Tyler Jacklich, a running back for Central Catholic-Modesto, rushed for 201 yards and four touchdowns in a 55-49 win over Manteca.

Gavin Jensen, a defensive back for Kingsburg, intercepted three passes, returning one for a touchdown in a 34-0 win over Reedley.

Chris Lawson, a sophomore receiver for Foothill-Pleasanton, had 10 catches for 117 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winner, in a 28-22 overtime win over Dublin.

RL Miller, a senior receiver and linebacker for Sacred Heart Cathedral, scored touchdowns three different ways — by reception, interception return and fumble return (see video above) — in a 30-17 win over Bellarmine.

Jaeden Moore, a four-star defensive end and tight end at Central Valley Christian-Visalia, caught four passes for 85 yards and three touchdowns and recorded six tackles and three sacks in a 42-12 win over Washington Union-Fresno. Moore is committed to the University of Oregon.

Cayden Muir, a quarterback for Hanford, threw for 355 yards and fourth touchdowns and rushed for another in a 56-13 win over Mission Oak.

Blake Nichelson, a Florida State-bound running back for Manteca, rushed 24 times for 400 yards and seven touchdowns in a 55-49 loss to Central Catholic.

Nicolas Ramos, a 6-foot, 205-pound senior defensive lineman for Los Gatos, had 16 tackles, two sacks and three hurries in a 28-7 win over previously unbeaten Wilcox-Santa Clara.

Shay O’Kelly, a senior linebacker for defending state champion Sacred Heart Prep-Atherton, had 22 tackles, including nine solo, in a 26-7 win at Aragon-San Mateo. O’Kelly led the state in tackles in 2021.

Devon Rivers, the North Coast Section’s leading rusher for Heritage-Brentwood, rushed 13 times for 154 yards and five touchdowns — all in the first 18 minutes — in a 49-18 win over Deer Valley-Antioch.

Deagan Rose, a freshman quarterback for Clovis, completed 10 of 14 passes for 210 yards and three touchdowns in a 56-34 win over Clovis East.

Davis Smith, a starting quarterback for Foothill-Palo Cedro, the Northern Section’s top-ranked team, returned from injury to complete 9 of 13 passes for 214 yards and four touchdowns, and he rushed for 47 more yards and another score in a 47-7 win over Chico.

Sherrod Smith, a running back for Menlo-Atherton, rushed 20 times for 151 yards and three touchdowns in a 24-14 win over Menlo School-Atherton.

Omar Staples, a four-star defensive lineman for Oakland Tech, had five sacks and a touchdown catch, during a 38-20 win over Castlemont.

Josh Stowers, a running back and linebacker for Overfelt, rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown and had 16 tackles in a 27-21 win over Westmont-Campbell.

Dayton Tafoya, a senior quarterback for Central-Fresno, threw for 290 yards and five touchdowns in a stunning 45-0 win over Clovis West, which came into the game 8-0 and ranked No. 1 in the Central Section.

Shane Timmons, a junior quarterback for Saratoga, completed 29 of 45 passes for 509 yards and five touchdowns in a 42-36 loss to Fremont-Sunnyvale.

Tyler Trudeau, a senior quarterback at Livermore, completed 11 of 14 for 197 yards and five touchdowns in one half, during a 48-16 win over Dougherty Valley-San Ramon.

Jimmy Voorhies, a sophomore quarterback for College Park-Pleasant Hill, completed just six passes but five were for touchdowns in an 84-0 win over Ygnacio Valley-Concord.
