Allen got a taste of varsity action during last season’s run to the division 1 championship and has seized his opportunity as the Highlanders’ top playmaker this season. Jeremiah Castillo – Junior – Mount Miguel

Castillo split time at quarterback, running back and wide receiver last season before breaking out at receiver this year. In ten games, he’s caught 61 passes and leads the San Diego Section with 1,172 receiving yards and 20 receiving touchdowns.

Markus Macon – Senior – Palo Verde Valley

Macon and fellow senior running back Xzavier Bejarano continue to put up video game-like numbers for the second straight season. After a slow first two games of the season, Macon had posted eight straight games of over 100 yards rushing. He’s averaging just under 14 yards per carry this season and has 19 rushing touchdowns. Macon recently passed the 4,000-yard mark for his career as he and Bejarano aim to capture a CIF title for the second straight season.

Ty Olsen – Sophomore – Del Norte

Olsen was one of San Diego’s best freshmen last season, catching eight touchdowns for the Nighthawks. He’s taken his game to the next level this season, catching 62 passes for 1,073 yards and 14 touchdowns with one regular season game left to play.

Robinson is on his way to leading the San Diego Section is every major rushing category with one regular season game left to play. In nine games, the Georgia commit has rushed for 1,704 yards and 25 touchdowns while averaging 13 yards per carry. Robinson likely would have already passed the 2,000-yard mark this season but he was limited to single digit carries in three blowout wins this year. In a two-game stretch against St. Bonaventure and Mater Dei Catholic early in the season, Robinson rushed for 783 yards and 11 touchdowns on 52 carries.

Chris Williams – Senior – Francis Parker

No player in the San Diego Section makes as big of an impact in each phase of the game as Williams does. Williams has done the bulk of his damage in the run game where he’s rushed for 1,333 yards and 19 touchdowns. He’s also thrown four touchdowns, caught three touchdowns and has four interceptions on the defensive side of the ball.
