Watch: Carter Hogue, Parker Awad, Edison cruise to 40-13 win over Corona del Mar

Hogue registered 3 rushing touchdowns and an interception

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Edison locked up its third straight top-two finish in the Sunset League on Friday with a 40-13 road win against Corona del Mar.

Carter Hogue was the top star of the night, running for 3 touchdowns, recording over 150 yards of total offense, and grabbing a pick. Parker Awad was also dominant, throwing for 2 touchdowns and over 350 yards efficiently for the Chargers. Ashton Hurley and Tucker Tripp each caught a touchdown, and Mason York had a handful of key receptions as well. Dominic Lopez added a rushing touchdown for Edison while helping lead the defense at LB, and Malachi Pierce paced Edison's defense with 2 interceptions.

The Sea Kings were led by David Rasor and Cooper Hoch, who connected for both of the the team's touchdowns.
