Jaden Rashada commits to Arizona State after decommitting from Florida, Miami

After tumultuous recruitment, the talented signal-caller is headed to the Pac-12

Amid a whirlwind recruitment, Jaden Rashada has chosen a home.

The Pittsburg (California) four-star quarterback announced his committed to Arizona State on National Signing Day Wednesday morning.

Rashada decommitted from Miami in November and signed a letter of intent with Florida in December.

His relationship with the Gators went sour shortly thereafter, and he was granted a release from his letter of intent on Jan. 20 after the school's NIL collective failed to pay the first installment of a deal potentially worth more than $13 million.

In a statement posted to Twitter, the 6-foot-5 quarterback called ASU, his father's alma mater, his "childhood dream school, a place where I'm happy and a school where the Head Coach always had my back."

"Glad to be truly home," he said.

Rashada visited Arizona State last weekend, and had been trending toward committing to new head coach Kenny Dillingham.

He's the No. 6 quarterback in the nation and No. 73 overall prospect, per On3.

As a senior, he threw for 3,055 yards, 32 touchdowns and ran for 419 yards and seven more scores for Pittsburg.
