Highlights: Noelani Raigans leads San Pedro to playoff win over Carson

The Pirates owned the first half to defeat Carson in the CIFLACS D2 quarterfinals

SAN PEDRO, Calif. – For the second straight season, San Pedro girls basketball is in the L.A. City Section Division 2 semifinals.

Noelani Raigans led the way with 23 points, 5 assists, and 6 steals on Tuesday as the Pirates defeated Marine League foe for the third time this season by a score of 69-62.

San Pedro led by 20 points in the first half at one point and 40-22 at halftime before Carson gained steam in the second half. The Colts finished the game on a 24-8 run, but Pedro had built enough of a buffer to withstand the rally.

Maia Woolridge scored 17 points for the Pirates, and Shaila Coleman totaled 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Miah Molette led Carson with 16 points, and Zoey Taylor had 13 points in a double-double.
