Longtime college assistant hired at Campbell Hall, likely to coach LeBron James' youngest son Bryce
Longtime NCAA assistant men's basketball coach David Grace was named the new boys basketball coach at Campbell High of North Hollywood, alma mater of the Holiday brothers, Jrue, Justin and Aaron, all of whom are in the NBA.
As first reported by Tarek Fattal of the Los Angeles Daily News, Grace was a longtime former college basketball assistant with stints that included at UCLA, Oregon State, Cal and most recently at Vanderbilt, where he was associate head coach.
He'll take over a program that went 14-13 last season and returns their top three scorers, led by Aaron Powell (17.2 points per game).

According to Fattal, the Vikings should also be adding Bryce James, the youngest son of LeBron James, who is currently a sophomore at Sierra Canyon. Bryce James is expected to transfer to Campbell Hall in the fall.
The 6-foot-3 shooting guard played sparingly for Sierra Canyon last season. His older brother Bronny was a McDonald's All-American and yet to announce his college plans.
Campbell Hall Director of Athletics Kris King told Fattal he is "thrilled to welcome David to the Viking family," noting Grace's vast experience coaching both at the next level and to middle school and high school players.
Grace coached two high school teams in Arizona, the second in 2022-23 at Centennial-Peoria, which went 18-11 and lost in the state 5A semifinals to eventual champion Campo Verde.
