CIF Regional 2023 Football Bowl Championship playoff brackets: Scores, matchups, game times
The brackets are in.
The California Interscholastic Federation section champions have been crowned — all 57 of them— an now 54 will participate in Regional Football Championship Bowl Games.
Games will be held Friday and Saturday (Dec. 1-2) at home sites througout the state with the winners facing off for State Bowl Championships Dec. 8-9 at three sites: Pasadena College, El Camino College in torance and Saddleback College in Mission Viejo.
Additionally, the top two teams — one from the North and one from the South — were selected to advance directo to the Open Division CIF State Championship Bowl game. Those two are Serra of San Mateo of the North versus Mater Dei of Santa Ana. The Padres and Monarchs will square off Dec. 9 at Saddleback College. Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m.
Besides the Open teams, the only squad to receive a bye was Fairfax-Los Angeles in Division 7-AA.
