Jordin Blackmon strikes for 11 points in first 3 minutes, 30 seconds which prove the difference in a 52-40 win for the Division 1 crown at Golden 1 Center

SACRAMENTO — With one quick Jordin Blackmon flurry, this one was essentially over.

The junior shooting guard scored 11 points in the first 3 minutes, 30 seconds, lifting Bishop Montgomery to a 13-3 lead en route to a 52-40 CIF Division 1 girls basketball victory Friday at Golden 1 Center.

Blackmon finished with a game-high 15 points and Cyria Coleman added 14 as the Knights (23-5) won their seventh state title (against one defeat), but their first since 2003.

Jayla Stokes had 11 points for O'Dowd (24-7), which battled back all night but cold shooting (15 of 57) cost the Dragons.
