Harvard-Westlake's Trent Perry named 2024 Mission League basketball MVP

Trent Perry named Mission League MVP for a second straight time; also check out 1st Team and 2nd Team honors

USC-commit and McDonald's All-American Trent Perry was named Mission League boys basketball MVP for the 2023-24 season.

It's the second straight year Perry has received the honor.

He finished his high school career on top after leading Harvard-Westlake to back-to-back CIF State Open Division titles, the most recent coming in a 50-45 win over Salesian Prep on March 9.

Perry was remarkable during the state tournament, highlighted by a 42-point game against Carlsbad in the regional semifinal before pouring in 28 points in the regional final against Eastvale Roosevelt.

He was 24 of 24 from the free throw line in those two games.
